Elune might be older and more powerful than we ever imagined

Again you are just flat out assuming she created new suns and not a local celestial object. Kind of like the portal created in legion. Also please tell me why you think an object of unknow origin with Elune’s name associated it is proof?

Ok not the audio but from the PDF.

But this time, it tried to communicate. Alleria felt as its raw emotion gave way to something else. Memories. It was sending her its entire lifetime in a single, uncontrolled burst. In that instant, while the corrupted fount of arcane might was upon her, her mind was transported elsewhere.

This being was so much more powerful than the minion of the Shadow had been. Then, she had witnessed flashes of destiny. Now, she lived a history that surpassed the existence of the universe.

Blink.
It was energy, spinning out into the cosmos.
Blink.
It found warmth near a sun, and a world formed around it to protect it as it grew.
Blink.
Generations of life lived and died upon it.
Blink.
It was betrayed. It was bound by something powerful.
Blink.
Pain. Pain. It hurt so much. Its only solace lay within its dream.
Blink.
They enslaved worlds. They burned worlds. They used its strength to revive their fallen
souls. It hurt so much.
Blink.
They found another. It was much more powerful. They wanted to claim it, too. Then they
would be unstoppable.
Blink.
It screamed into the cosmos for help. Two children answered the call. Two bright lights.
Blink.
Two bright lights… from Azeroth. A world that was like Argus.

Alleria ripped herself free. Now she was lying on her side. Turalyon was shaking her. “Wake up! Alleria! Wake up! We have to go!”

Giving a dissenting or alternate opinion is considered trolling to some.

LOL! That is a good one there. What a great joke.

Go read her lore profile then come back.

Much as I believe Elune is an actual deity within Warcraft canon, she’s not going around creating literal suns in tribute to Ysera. Elune having that kind of power makes anything bad ever happening to the night elves completely implausible. We should be an invincible, untouchable force if our god can create entire stars out of nothing.

It straight up says she does not engage in combat. It also straight up says she does not manifest in the mortal world.

She also has you sacrifice the flesh and weapons of her enemies to her in exchange for her blessings. Desolace says hello.

Elune is a Goddess of War.

(You’re quoting non-canon RPG btw)

She Does not participate in combat. Its not just in the RPG that she doesn’t directly attack anything its also just not in the RPG that she doesn’t manifest. However if you want to throw out all lore connected with her to support your supposition that’s fine with me.

After reading A Thousand Years of War, I really started to distrust everything about the Pantheon tbh. It also made me start thinking the “Chronicle” series is supposed to be written by Norgannon.

I don’t trust em, I don’t trust em one bit!

Yes and most of it doesn’t make sense. That is why I gave my alternate view.

  1. why does she only seem to care about the NE?
  2. why is she Azeroth specific?
  3. what has she done greater then what a watcher has done?
  4. where is to confirmation that she made the prime Naaru?

Which minion of the shadow was Alleria referring to though? It would not be a Void Lord. Plus we do not know how powerful the Void Lords are compared to a Titan. Then we have only seen some of the powers of Elune, which seems to be very easily a small portion of her power.

So, my conclusion can only say that there is not enough information to suffice how powerful Elune, Void Lords, and the Light beings are.

I hope we never get answers as to the limits of Elune’s power and that she never directly intervenes. Look at how they treated the Titans, these all-powerful beings who created worlds…

No. I don’t want any of that happening to Elune.

If you want full context, I would highly suggest reading the whole document.

Dude I’m pretty certain that calimari is about to hit the fan. I think the story is leading up to something truly amazing. (Night Elven shade and ignoring their narrative aside)

It never stated anywhere she was Azeroth specific, No other races worship her except the tauren. If you don’t know what else she’s done you haven’t read the lore, she’s interfered with the Legion several times in small ways. I don’t know anything about the prime Naaru, just that she’s older than that. If you can call her a she that is.

Except that is nothing beyond what the titans are capable of. They have a machine that can instantly turn all life on the planet to it’s base components. Like I said there was an entire planet in our sky because of legion (not even titan) item that Illidan used.

A quick read into the pedia shows that it was only Khadgars theory that she made the Naaru. Although he’s not often wrong, there’s no other evidence.

Her high priestess who speaks with her believes she is the larger of the two moons of Azeroth. Kind of hard to argue with someone who actually talks to her. Also we have now been to three worlds, have had dealings with multiple Titans and Naaru and none have mentioned her.

I picture the way Elune has shared her power with her childish, tantrum-throwing priestess is akin with how we have access to the electrical power grid in our homes. The electricity leaving a power plant will be very intense…in the range of twenty thousand volts and hundreds of amps…but by the time it gets to us, it will be no more than 240 volts and 30 amps.

Mere mortals could never harness the power of a goddess, so Elune has ‘watered down’ the divine energy she gave Tyrande, so she wouldn’t be fried by it.

Why would they? Outside of the faithful and this expansion she’s hardly mentioned, you know sort of like a god, not expected to directly interfere.
