Elune might be older and more powerful than we ever imagined

That is Blizzard’s writing for you. Did you not even hear what they said about Tyrande’s vengeance? They said that she got her vengeance for the burning of Teldrassil. By killing a winged pigeon.

That’s not shadow. There is literally nothing void or shadowy about the Night Warrior or the black moonwell. Normal moonwells and normal night elf eyes represent a full moon, the black moonwell and black eyes represent a new moon. It’s a phase and nothing more. Stop making up things.

Understand, I’m not calling you wrong. Elune could potentially be more powerful than a Titan but she also could be weaker.

Everything you have linked here regarding Elune are old tweets with no clarification, everything said about Elune is mostly speculation and it’s because we lack efficient information on her in every category.

She’s a God. Great. Do you realize how vague that phrase is in Warcraft? My best advice is to not get too attached in defending her. The writers can come out one day and simply say “Of yeah she’s just a Naaru, case closed”.

Well from we have seen in the game. She is definitely stronger then any titan. Titans have been known to create little machines, but never stars. We have seen them bring a start to nature, but not full nature. We have seen Elune make how many stars with ease? A dragon constellation of stars. So, I would say she is way stronger then the Titans combined.

The Titan constructs are machines made out of stone and metal. We have never seen them make anything flesh like, or something on the scale of stars themselves. They come from planets, that is a limit to their power.

By the way, she created the Naaru.

You get a lot of things confused with wow lore don’tcha?

Shadow, no. Voidy, maybe.

If Greek mythology is anything to go by in WoW (and I think it is), at first there was only Void (chaos, silence, Darkness, Night) , and out of it spawned 5 forces; 1st Eros/love (who spawned light) then Gaia, Tartarus, Nyxx/Night, Erebus(Darnkess).

Not exactly the same but quite similar to WoW; Gaia=Nature, Death, and instead of Nyxx and Erebus we got Order and Fel, the equivalent of Eros could be Elune.

In Greek myth Night represents things related to fate/death/sleep/dreams and Nemesis (righteous anger/divine vengeance). And Night (Nyxx) =/= Darkness (Erebus).

TLTR; Night and Shadow could be as in Greek myth two different things and thus Night Warrior’s righteous vengeance is not shadow (but Night being a mix of void light, yes).

Didn’t the Allieria and Turalyon audio drama detail the planet being formed around Argus the Unmaker?

So you think the Wild Gods are more powerful then a titan?

Also why is Elune a god? Because she is worshiped? Look at what Odyn can do. He can turn people into angles, fire spears of fire that can one shot space ships, and lift an entire island into the air and he is just a watcher. Like I said (and this is 100% my own speculation) she is most likely a watcher specifically designated to watch over the wound that nearly killed Azeroth and deviated from her primary purpose when sentient life began to live around it. This would also explain why she only seems to watch over the night elves.

She came before the wild gods and before the titans…

Her only having a presence with the Night Elves is the oddest thing about her.

??? The Titans are born from planets. It has been stated in the lore and in the game for years now. Then we know that they take form. The Planet Argus is where Argus was born from. The planet did not form around Argus the Unmaker.

If you don’t mind waiting later, I’ll send the source of my comment. I’m on mobile atm and i don’t remember the time stamp of when Argus grants Allieria the vision.

If you want to listen for yourself, just look up the audio drama. I’m pretty certain that Argus details the vision of being enclosed by the planet before going dormant.

Fair warning, it’s longish.

Elune created stars in the constellation of a dragon. Titans have never made stars before in their entire existance. They have only built these titan constructs, little watcher Odyn, and so on. To say that Elune is a watcher is very diminishing her ability to create things.

Okay, just send when you can.

Source? Also Khadgar’s baseless musing that Tyrande shot down is not proof. The core responding to the Tear of Elune is also not proof.

The one true Goddess, of course.

Elune-Adore. :alien:

Us seeing the stars in the sky doesn’t mean she created new suns in that shape. Go to any of the titan buildings and you will see constellations and constructs “made out of stars”.

Ha! I knew it. You are a troll.

The whole Elune responding to turning the dragon into a constellation is proof of her power. She created that constellation in the sky.

BTW - The Titans created a constellation being, not a full constellation in the sky. There is a difference in power there. You are definitely trolling.

Yes he is.

I think Hamstar is the only person on these forums who doesn’t troll, actually.
