Well obviously they would not be reborn immediately, but rather over time and after Ardenweild had been healed. The anima of other mortals sent to Ardenweild after them could be used to help them be reborn.
It’s not an impossible task so long as you are willing to think it through on the time scale of immortals.
Is it though? Assuming she has a specific domain of powers, messing around with life/death is something that would directly be in her wheelhouse as a life goddess, whereas fire or the suppression of fire isn’t really related to life or the moon.
It does tho? They were sent for different purposes, but the idea being that both groups were personally sent there by Elune rather than going through the “System”
What stops them from being reborn too, if their families are already dead? If all Night Elves go to Ardenweild anyways then they can just gather up entire families and have them all reborn at once, somewhere out in the cosmos, away from angry Orcs and undead legions.
We literally have Dreadlords (Denathrius), the Lich King + Scourge + Forsaken (Zovaal + Primus), and the Drust (Ardenweald). Not counting Valkyr cuz that’s Odyn plagiarizing.
You and I have had our disagreements, Treng, but I often back you when you would bring up these points. I am glad to see Blizzard hard confirm what you have been saying - dispelling all doubt.
People often complain Blizzard leaves things too vague and up in the air. It is nice to have something definitive.
Giving it some thought, and this isn’t actually as bad as my initial reaction… to a point. It’s more what came before that’s messing with it being cohesive, as opposed to what we’re getting now.
After this WoW is going to have a hard time competing with Critically acclaimed MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV, which has a free trial up to level 60, including the entire award-winning first expansion HEAVENSWARD.
I’m just pointing out that the moon has a relation to fire. Though Elune blasting Teldrassil with moonfire would’ve been better than Sylvanas burning the place. Imagine if in the Sylvanas warbringers cinematic that right after Delaryn says she can’t kill hope, there’s suddenly a massive blast of moonfire then Sylvanas sees the tree on fire.
Not necessarily. Just the hoops which entities like the Void Lords, Zovaal and even the Legion jump through simply trying to get into our plane of reality in a meaningful way makes it increasingly apparent that these cosmic beings who can literally shape reality and build entire realms from nothing in their own plane aren’t free to do whatever they want, whenever they want once they’re subject to the existential laws and limitations of how things operate within the Great Dark.
how about this, we keep the lore as it is now, but right as Sylvanas is about to be redeemed (which I keep being told is a fait accompli), then Elune Ion cannons her to final death with the mother of all moonfires.
