I sure would have if the mount had been important enough to my enjoyment to warrant quitting.
But again, flipping a recolored mount to 100% is a lot less work and doesn’t require a change in the developers vision for the game.
although i agree with what you said there are other things to warrant swapping vision. not saying about the elitists quitting but just in general. the elitists will likely come back in 9.2
Whales are still flopping around the beach. Looks good on paper for bobbies golden chute.
In and out like a mouse, they won’t feel it.
Not sure why we can’t ask for content for all walks of life instead of wishing they stop doing anything for people who push the higher tiers. Because that’s how it should be. Don’t neglect a massive faction of the playerbase.

Trying to please everyone usually ends up pleasing no one.
Well right now there aren’t many happy campers to begin with. There’s one person in our entire guild who didn’t hate Korthia grinding. Swapping covs before and farming out a whole new fotm ability/renown was crap. Most of us don’t like Torghast. All of this is required to push mythic SoD.
They didn’t seem to have a grasp of what their players actually liked in any regard, aside from PvPers wanting a vendor lol.

They should start by removing Mythic raid and go from there.

If the game was designed for elitists, they’d stop adding crap that forces you to grind outside raids or make alts a pain to catch up.
Their bad decisions and borrowed power systems hurts everyone.

Let’s face it if “casual” forum have it there way. We zone in to a raid and there’s a vendor right at the door selling us mythic gear then we get ported out.

Nah, queued content should go first. The game was better when you needed to actually put some effort into grouping.

they can remove DBM while they’re at it. There’s plenty of examples of how that addon alone has deteriorated the quality of our game for most casual players.
So basically you are complaining that “Elitists” are leaving a game they didn’t want and leaving it for “casuals”? These so called Elitists wouldn’t be leaving if the game is what they wanted…logically.

To be fair, the game isn’t fun when it comes to progression. Less gear, no tokens, absolutely nothing but sheer luck.
