Title says it all. The big people are quitting and us lovely casuals will inherit a game we didn’t ask for. And I think it’s time Blizzard stopped working for the 1%.

Blizzard doesn’t cater to the 1%. They cater to their shareholders.
The game has been very formulaic since the end of MoP. Everything shifting to the timeless isle model and pushing people into queued instanced content is just the easiest way to crank out an expansion every 2.5 years.

Not 99% but a lot of this game is in fact casual. The casual outrank the hardcore by a very wide margin this game would be dead if all Casuals quit and the economy would burn.

10.0 is gonna make or break this game. I have a feeling we lost a lot of people permanently with SL. I just hope this game can turn around for those who survived the onslaught.

I’m waiting for next expansion at this point. The game started going in a strange direction lately. I got my level 60’s leveled-up. I hope they drastically change the game.

This idea that you’re either casual or hardcore is pretty funny to me, also people who think you can log-in for hours, every day and still call yourself “casual” because you choose not to participate in certain content is equally ridiculous.

I fear the same thing…
All these people that left for FFXIV, New World, other games don’t sound too excited about returning to WoW. I suspect a lot of the people who left/quit might be “done” for good.

Define Casual.
Is it someone who only plays a few hours a week whether that’s doing high keys and/or Raid Logging Mythic?
Is it someone who doesn’t do any group content and just plays solo?
Is it someone who plays for hours upon hours each week but doesn’t do any “high level” activities?
