Yes it was, in fact it was worse for casuals, Wrath aka the pinnacle of raid logging, you had nothing to do besides raid or pvp, and some daily dungeon for the badges… u have more options nowadays in the form of low m+ or world quests and raid finder, if you people dont want to do that then is your problem.
Those rose-tinted glasses wont last that much when WOTLK Classic launches (just like every other classic release).
i disagree. where were your wallet actions when we were complaining about a low percentage anniversary mount drop? did you not see the COUNTLESS posts complaining about the low percentage only for them to make it 100% after reset?
Here we are where wow is more hated than loved. SL has bleed subs worse than any other point in it’s history.

And how are they doing that? You can get 90% of the content in a patch just doing heroic raiding and +10 keys on top of your normal questing/mount farming. And if you are a casual who doesnt raid, m+, or farm mounts then thats not the main demographic wow has been targeting for the past few years.
If you think the “1%” wanted this mess you need to put the bottle down and step away.
They outright said there’s no raid power tied behind the cipher in the interview a few days ago.
They said the legendary can be created in other slots, so I assume you can get it from the raid.

Don’t listen to people. Just enjoy the game with the things you want to do. If you ever feel forced to do something ask yourself is it really worth it for enjoying the game? Often many meta stuff like sticking to fotm specs. A lot of what is meta can lead to burnout. So just try to enjoy the game for what it is. Enjoy what you can. Challenge yourself if you want.
I tend to bear horrible grinds for the rewards but I am a collector. I will complain about stuff because I want the game to be better. Its true you can vote with your wallet, but it’s also true you can try to do good in the community via the forums and threads.
Also keep in mind the forums will usually tilt to negative as we are told to post problems in the game here. Here we discuss perceived issues or can suggest new things. People aren’t always complaining in game, but the forums are the place to complain! It doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy other parts of the game.
My wallet was totally at peace since I didn’t care about the mount.
There’s also a big difference in them making a recolor anniversary mount 100% and changing the entire game.

I love the game actually, it’s just all the things we’re supposed to do after hitting 60. I got very lost in all that and that’s ok. I came close to leaving but resolved my gameplay style to be quests and professions. I love professions and don’t care how useless or useful they are. I like collecting recipes. So, I’m also a collector of a sort with recipes for professions.
They are probably quitting cause everything they like to do is dried up right now and there is no challenge for them.

Yea it seems like you may be interested in gold making! Tons of stuff you can buy and collect in this game. Especially in the auction house! So you may be interested in that and catering your playstyle towards that perhaps. As I like making gold on the side in this game mostly. Since power upgrades are hard to come by as a solo playstyle. So goldmaking is a nice thing you can discover in this game!
Idiots are actually brazen enough now to ask Blizzard to dumb down the game to their level. A few months ago it’s just sort of hinted at by the casuals on GD. Now some of them are outright asking for it as this is not the only thread. There are like 4 or 5 those as of this moment I think. It’s pretty sad. Not an ounce of dignity at all.

I’m just quitting Shadowlands, but doing all the other expansions instead. I already got Shadowlands Loremaster so I’ll go for the title.
