High elves are in the game where you been? Blood Elves are WOW’s High Elves.

And stopped being High elves… I mean, Kael’thas literally said “from this day foward we are no longer highelves, but blood elves in honour of our fallen.” We stopped being high elves, and those who didn’t follow Kael’thas refused to take the new name and hence where the divide started. It’s like saying Americans are just English people who changed their name.

I’m not an Elf fan. But I still want regular High Elves with matching racials for Alliance.
Won’t play one but it’d be nice to have.

we need more elves. i say we introduce cave elves. they can worship a demonic arachnid like goddess named rolth. they are proficient in crossbows swords daggers.

If high elves became a thing (which they shouldn’t) then all non-void skin tones need to be removed from void elves.

Because they are High elves who are fighting under the banner of either the Blood elves, or the Void elves… we have literally had Lore story progression to say some of the Highelves have went back to silvemoon and some of the high elves have went to Telogrus Rift to train with the Void elves. I don’t get your insistance to argue semantics of game limitations when Blizzard have clearly went out of the way to make High elves accessable to both bloodelves and void elves.
Do you consider Dark Rangers playable? Or are they just Blood/Void Elves? It’s the same concept.

No. Void Elves are significantly cooler and more interesting than an existing race that already belongs in Silvermoon. What you actually want is just a way to not be tied into a faction.

No they aren’t.
They don’t even have lore after their introduction and only have 1 important named character.
That’s not fair, I’m still very mych a void elf, I have void eyes and void tentacles in my hair, I just didn’t want the blue skin because it really limits transmog options, that blue tone clashes so badly with most outfits.
I mean you’re playing a human so I already question your taste

We do now have High elves who returned home to be near the sunwell and are with the bloodelves that you can make and 100% play, but Blood elves and High elves are not the same thing. I’m a blood Elf, I’m not a High Elf. My eyes are green from sucking all those felguar- er, I mean fel magic.
To clarify, I don’t want that. I don’t care one way or another really if High Elves are added as a playable race.
My point was people that want High Elves have a very specific fantasy in mind that they’re meant to fulfill that Void Elves don’t. That’s why we have this thread, and why people continue to ask for playable High Elves.
