And no. High Elves would take far less work than any of those races you spammed and would be far more popular.

i’d appreciate it personally. Give high elves the option to choose whether to follow their comrades before making the mistake that leads to their curse, or make their starting area in outland since the remaining high elves decided to stay there after learning about the horrors of the third war and the scourge.

And yet whenever I ask people to tell me about the high elves I get nothing beyond their association with the alliance and that they’re a collection of Waifus and Husbandos.

It’s not like I haven’t asked or looked or tried to find things either, but as far as I can tell they’re effectively humans in terms of their beliefs and values.

The narrative concepts of the push and pull between blood and high elves, the outcasts whether by choice or force, the clinging to their old traditionalist viewpoints vs. the Blood elves willingness to do what it took to survive.

Having to find ways to adapt their culture to their new situations, how has living among other races forced them to come to terms with their proud thalassian natures, how do they view the void elves how do they feel about their current allies alongside all the wars, events and different politics.

There is easily so much.

Heck how about why the SC is willing to play with Warlocks but somehow sees the Blood elves as a step too far? Is their issue more focused on the allying with the Horde given what the Old Horde did to them in the past vs. the New Horde?

How has the access to the Sunwell changed for them as a people separated but allowed to pilgrimage there?

Where the heck did all the Allerian Stronghold elves end up and what do they think about all of this?

The Highvale and their alliance with the Wildhammer and how those Draenei priests are doing with them alongside their supposed choice to go cold turkey on all magic (I assume of an arcane nature).

You haven’t looked or tried or listened is your problem.

Like be real, I do not want High Elves as a separate AR as I feel they can be provided just fine through void elves, but to pretend they have no narrative appeal beyond “human waifus” is the most ridiculous and disingenuous you could possibly be.

I’m not a high elf fan/advocate but if velves and helves were separated then velves could flourish.

Me either but yes, I would love nothing more for Void Elves than for them to actually be able to have the void stories, void customizations, etc. they should already have by now.

Though I’m also looking forward to universal blind eyes. I probably won’t use it myself, but it will be nice to see. I dream scars are next. Especially the option to match worgen and human form scars.

More customization doesn’t make Void Elves not Void Elves.

High Elf fans want to be non-afflicted High Elves who have been serving alongside the Alliance this whole time.

If I can play a Wildhammer via customizations, or a Sandfury troll, I can do the same with a void elf/blood elf for playing a high elf. Especially with the right customizations (already in, but could stand to be expanded) and a bit of story.

But that’s just my pair o’ cents.

Blizz did the whole High Elf/Void Elf thing backwards. Should have added High Elves first, then used added the Void thing later.

Specifically, Shadowlands would be crumpled up and thrown into a dumpster, but other things too.
