Eight World Quests

We aren’t asking for the transmog or the mounts, just the abilities.

What data?

Do you have links to numbers stating that you wont be able to play anything but one specific thing? Do we not think that’s a balancing issue then? Sounds like a balancing issue to me. Not a “GIVE ME EVERYTHING SO I CAN JUST PICK THE ONE THAT THE NUMBERS SAY IS BEST AND YET GET THE MOGS AND REWARDS OF EVERYTHING ELSE.”

Isn’t the whole point of #pulltheripcord so that you people can switch out all 4 abilities every other fight? SO that you can maximize everything you want? Or is your argument that you want to be able to pick to the one “best thing” and still get to go to whatever covenant you want to play as regardless of choice?
Most of the time you people aren’t even on the same page with your arguments so I get confused.

So then, it sounds like you have 3 choices to pick from. And you should decide which is more useful for you as a player.
Think Divine toll is useless? Don’t pick it then…?
Rather have Door of shadows? Then go with that and look at that, you get another AoE ability to go along with it.

That’s the glory of choice.

Heck with the class abilities unlocked and put with your chosen covenants soul binds instead of 4 flavors of paladin you get 12 flavors .

Wooo hooo!
Even more choice!
I love it.

How do you fix this balancing issue then? It’s seeming like Kyrian is best for Prot (definitely the best in M+) while being worst for Ret. Do you think they should buff Divine Toll and make it even more of an obvious choice for Prot just to bring it in line for Ret?

They do have exchange programs in the US. Here’s an Italian pilot flying an US A10

I would imagine there are examples of other NATO countries integrating combat forces to enhance combat efficacy.

I thought your point was that covenants are like a coalition and thus separate. Whereas they feel more like sovereign nations that have diplomatic ties to each other but maintain distinct identity.

OH so you want to convert people to your side of thinking because…it’ll benefit you.
I mean, you got people like Froom already I guess.
Don’t gotta do any meaningful content to be a sheep I guess.

Fifteen years and you still think balance is possible?

Well isn’t this expansion all about choice .

My scenario actually give players more of a choice for unique builds then your locked preference does .

In the same exact article you mentioned, it also mentions that it takes a minimum of two days to switch, and then the Covenant literally says to come back later, with the exact time undetermined, which likely translates to the weekly reset.
I really am beyond caring about it at this point, but at least read the stuff you link. It’s not just eight world quests.

Okay, so now we can compare achievements? Since you’re specifically calling me out on that? Because, I can see your feats of strength, yaknow? We gonna walk this road?

Can numbers not be tuned differently for different specs?
I mean, Prot and Holy both seem like they’d be perfectly fine with Divine toll depending on which builds they actively chose.

Is the damage from Judgement just not enough? What’s the actual issue with divine toll for ret?

Difference is, i’m not arguing for the top 1%.
YOU are.

I don’t think it’s possible, which is why I think they need to be swappable. They have wasted so much time trying to make this work that other parts of the game have suffered. Whereas if the abilities were swappable they could have balanced on the fly once the expansion launched because nobody would be worried about picking the wrong one or having their best covenant change.

Well, since you keep ignoring it…

Nah dawgz. I’m arguing for me, my super cool dudez. I don’t like restriction, I think it’s super lame daddy-o. I like freedom. MURICA.
(I disagree, friend. I’m arguing for my own benefit, because I like having freedom of choice. I think being restricted because of Blizzard sucks and goes against every precedent they’ve set previously)
Subtitled for Life.

The only coolio type of restriction is between two consenting adults in the privacy of their own home.

(Do you think that impressed my e-gf?)

Pick the covenant that is fun for you then…
Problem solved!

do you come with subtitles
thank

They govern different aspects of death correct? So they wouldn’t necessarily need diplomacy if their attentions never cross (unless intentionally).

I mean, you seem to be an RPer.
So IDK why you’d have any issue with restrictions in an RPG.

That’s kinda the point.
Kinda like how you can’t use Mage abilities as a Druid.
