Eight World Quests

Those abilities are apart of the Covenants identity. It’s inherent to that particular culture, regardless of what the story dictates. It has nothing to do with player agency or power.

The problem is that Blizzard doesn’t illustrate that because for some reason they never put effort into the Guards or non-essential NPC’s.

We wont get 1 though.
That’s just your crazy talking in your head.

Damn, I never would’ve gotten that. I totally just selected a random number too. Can you explain everything else about this game to me? I’m just a little loser night elf, I can’t get anywhere without your superior guidance.

You shouldn’t drink soda period.
But hey, if you want to harm yourself that’s on you.
If you want to make 10 alts to play. That’s on you.

You can already switch to whatever you want. You just have to wait for the arbitrary time gate. Also if you pick Kirian as Ret you’re trolling your group.

Taliesen is that you?

Do you hear the voices in your head too, telling you that mathematically one covenant is going to be better for every spec than all the others?

That’s the ideal.
Reality: every ret pally is 1 covenant cause [broken ability here]
aka no diff to talent rows now

Covenant would work perfectly if it didn’t have a major impact in mythic/raids. So now you’re dealing with a trade-off between flavor/effectiveness. And that’s why people are upset.

Maybe you can look at it this way: Why can’t I make a choice simply based on what I like without having to worry about my effectiveness?

Maybe 10 years ago, this would work. But now, it just doesn’t. Information flows way too perfectly and people will always operate on the level of “I didn’t make an optimal choice.”

Its “arbitrary” because you have to make a choice that you feel isn’t relevant. And yet, MANY others feel the opposite.
Making a choice in a video game is common practice even in WoW. Just because they haven’t done it in a while, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t ever happen again.

Also, you aren’t trolling anyone if you pick Kyrian is Ret.
You’re just confused because a fat bald dude told you that.

Math. The word you’re thinking of is math. I know that you know it, you need it to graduate high school.

No one will all be the same covenant.
It won’t happen.
Sorry to burst your bubble. But there will be a WW monk in every covenant.
100% guaranteed.

And all 4 of those will be able to do +15’s at some point.

I wouldn’t mind playing 10 alts, but playing multiple of the same class is where I draw that line, that seems pretty dumb.

Clearly they will change the system, the question is how/when.

The british RAF flies F-35s (Lockheed) and E-3s (Boeing), both american manufactured aircraft.
I think they also fly converted king airs and Gulfstream, just fyi :upside_down_face:

Then don’t do it.
That’s a choice you get to make as someone who wishes to maximize every possible thing they do in this game.

Its your choice buddy.

edit: And they wont change it before release. And that’s what i’m most happy about.

Yes I might not play the next expansion too. That’s a choice too.

I think the data would say the opposite. Far more people visit IcyVeins than people who visit WoW lore websites. Making your character as strong as possible is also an RPG element. I think there are far fewer players who are ok with intentionally handicapping themselves than you are leading on.

Nah, I’ve played it. Divine toll is very useless on single target and barely useful on AOE. Also 2 other covenants provide mobility which Ret lacks.

Yeah, i’ve heard you say that before too.
Its almost like a recording.

Yet, you’re still here every day. Or at least every day I come here. LOL

Hey man, you’re posting a lot here. What’s the maximum amount of posts you can make and still be a cool guy? :sunglasses:

I enjoy trying to make a change throught the forums, because I would like to play the next expansion. Is it wrong?

They’ll buy hardware from other countries, but you’ll never see a Frenchman fly British colors.
