So what he’s got me ignored
Expected by who? The day someone pays for my sub, internet, and rent will be the day they expect something from me.
Lol. This is wild.
Well you are focused on the RPG part but this is also an MMO where you have to group with other players for endgame activities.
Expected by PuG leaders most likely. And you don’t need to conform to their expectations, but they also don’t need to invite you to their groups.
Edit: Which is fine by the way, PuGs are garbage most of the time anyway.
Final Fantasy manages to accomplish the MMO aspect while keeping the RPG intact, why can’t WoW, exactly?
If we’re doing this for the rpg part,
Can I get master loot back
It’s one of the biggest rpg element with many meaningful choices attached to it.
You have to get to know the people in your group and put your trust in them.
If you leave a guild you have to re-earn their trust.
Wait, covenants are master loot guilds hiding all along.
Final Fantasy literally allows the player to play all the classes on one character. This directly contradicts locking covenants, my dude.
But there’s less emphasis on optimal builds, which improves the game overall.
Yeah and based on how this game works people play in different ways. Blizzard doesn’t balance this game on you being “optimal”. They never have. Min/Max streamers have polluted the way people think.
There is 1000% a site for Final Fantasy logs, just like there is for WoW. People still absolutely care about performance at the high end, it’s no different.
Go ahead and try to clear Mythic Nyalotha with your worst stats, worst essences, worst azerite traits and worst corruption.
Not as much as WoW. There’s a stark contrast between that community and this one.
Nothing says “I feel like doing some battlegrounds” like three hours worth of world quests over four days (for swapping then swapping back).
Not really? Queued content is functionally the same. A bunch of randoms just smashing buttons, DPS running ahead and pulling for tanks, healers DPSing and ignoring their heal buttons.
And at the high end, people run specific builds, pick up specific abilities from other jobs to enhance their own jobs, and they for sure log their raids to make sure everyone is performing at a reasonable level.
FF14 logs has about the same traffic of wow logs.
Which is suprising if you consider wow should have atleast double the amount of people playing. And that people can play FF14 on console.
Huh? If you are doing the hardest content you 100% need the most optimal stuff. There just isn’t much hard content outside of the ultimate raid bosses.
Exactly my point. The outside influence is only minor.
Which is why you choose what content you want to focus on. You can either be specialized and great at one or two things, or you can be the jack of all trades and be great at none of them.
Honestly 2 days worth of world content to be able to swap back to a covenant you left is a small price to pay compared to what it easily could have been.
So Blizzard should design fewer raids to combat the rampant elitism?
That’s been debunked already. That’s only the first stage of swapping a covenant.
No it hasn’t, the wowhead article says they ‘think’ this could be the first stage. They don’t know for sure, and Blizzard has not clarified anything yet.
Last I checked, thoughts aren’t facts.
