How much of a do you have to be to actually type this. You’ve done one key and do literally nothing in this game but you end up getting the game played for you by being instantly given a t3 EV. I’ve done 68 mythic+ dungeons so far this season + every single world quest that gives gear + world touring two weeks and I have yet to be given a single good corruption outside of “X% to stat” crap.
Meanwhile DH friend gets handed T3 EV first week and his dungeon overall went up about 20k dps on fort weeks and has it doing 12-15% of his damage every run.
So quit? This game has always been random for gear. Go play classic and try farming a HoJ. Some people get lucky. I also have a 455 tier 3 twilight destruction weapon…
Every class has a corruption affix that works best for their spec. Should there be a way to target it? Hell yes, but that would ruin their time played metrics. BFA needs every slot machine mechanic to keep people addicted/playing as possible to keep players subbed.
I have a VE hunter I keep meaning to go see mom about. RNG proc corruptions that proc way less than the bad stuff. its reaching a point of where I go I can’t miss what I rarely see lol.
Except that’s not it at all… I’m mature enough to know that I like balance, in my video games. Not everyone wants to roll the flavour of the month for everything just because it’s super OP for a little bit.
Too many people on here, that cry when people asking for things to be balanced properly, sound like the kind of kids that would use cheatcodes to beat a game and then brag about how easy it was…
To be fair tanks aren’t there to do damage in the first place. This isn’t the first time tanks have been doing more damage than they should. I personally don’t care. It’s just one of those things that are really fun while it lasts and then it gets nerfed to hell like every single time. No fun allowed…
Ecept it is… You are complaining about something NEW that been released not tooo long ago and want it evaporated from the game. It will get revamp or receive a proper balance in Shadowlands(if they decide to ekep corruption a things, OR change some corruption effect with new ones(which wouldn’t surprise me, but would add diversity)
You want the game to be balanced? Look at how Shadow Priest are performing, they are at the bottom of the dps pile, except for multi dotting fight, which even then, we are ok on those fight, but FAR from what we were able to.
You know what should have been nerfed long ago? Prot warriors but they didn’t even botter to it, and let a prot warriors do like 150k dps in a god damn m+.
But to keep on the subject, if i REALLY WANTED to put my feet in your shoes, add a DR to corruption effect that you have 2 times or more on your gear?
That would only be an issue if said dps had the same corrupted item and similar ilvl and the tank still beat them. Now that would be an issue indeed. This is not the case with what people are arguing about though.
