I was asking because that is wildly inaccurate.
Sure it’s weird to see, but I don’t see how a handful of players refusing to gear their toons justifies twinks getting back into the BG’s.

i like this idea, scale everyone up to x9 of their bracket and then squish the ilvl gap between someone in basic first time questing greens and a full xpoff twink set. make the diff 10-15%.
a new player is disadvantaged because he is new and probably ended up in a BG by accident.
Care to explain how people are in BGs in white gear then? I gave my idea.
Because that is the sole reason why twinking had to be rid of.
Honestly why are we even discussing that? This thread has totally derailed from OP’s idea.
You didn’t even know players in the higher brackets were missing gear. Here’s a good experiment for you. Start a toon from scratch, leveling through BGs. Before each BG starts, actually take a look at your teammates. Maybe then you will see what the real problem is.
I’m gonna test this, because I’m pretty sure you’re right.
Because you and Jughead derailed it?
All I said was the enchants were a big part of the problem.
I’m not saying it doesn’t happen, i’m saying if someone makes it all the way up to 70 as you claim, then you’re getting trolled.
Same, i’m looking up quest rewards on wowhead now. Based on the quest list from wow head most classes don’t get their first green until a lvl 11 quest. But even if you have decent gear in 10-19. You’ll get oneshotted by a druid or hunter anyway. 10-19 twinks should have never been separated. That whole bracket is a joke.
This thread is about gear. Where is the derailment?
This is how this game is now, Imagine when we really start our organized groups.
This thread is about ilvl scaling, and I brought up how enchants don’t effect the ilvl. Then twinks filled this place with a flood of tears.
I said I liked the system.
You said enchants were the issue.
I demonstrated my character camping GYs with 500g worth of enchants. You could beg for 500g in Org in an hour.
Now we’re insulting twinks by calling them crybabies. Nice.
I could call you a white item using noob, but I’m better than that.
And where does ilvl come from? Oh right, gear.
I don’t think new players should be begging for gold to stay relevant. All of you solutions for getting around the enchants have been useless.
Again with the new players. If you really want to fight for them, then maybe you should be asking for a separate heirloom bracket. New players are likely doing just a few BGs, and spending most of their time exploring the world/dungeons. Not many new players for the low level bgs I’d guess. Or they are using the 110 boost
You don’t need a seperate heirloom bracket. The gear isn’t the issue, ESPECIALLY the higher up you go. The enchants are. You are talking in circles, i’ve remained true to my original point. It is about new players. It’s always about new players. New players bring in new revenue, and it’s the only way Blizzard and World of Warcraft will survive, not a small group of fairweather PvPers.
110 is where the majority of new players start in BFA.
Can we agree on that?
I can already see where you’re going with this.
“Then they are at a high level and they should be able to gear their alts”
“Then how do we still have low level players in whites?”
“Because they’re lazy”
And around and around we go.
Ok so you would like White Gear and missing slots to be accounted for?
Can you rephrase this? I don’t understand what you’re asking in relation.
What is your narrative directed at today, what did you want?
Does that make sense now?
All i’m saying is that enchants are the issue, not the gear. Enchants are what causes an unfair balance in lower level BG’s. The cost of enchants are insane, and for some slots far outweigh the cost of the heirlooms. OP suggested making ilvl baseline for everyone, enchants don’t fall under ilvl, so the same imbalance would still be there.
