Just have every toon scale up or down on ilvl they possess to say lvl 80 approriate to what they have on in relation to their ilvl, then place them all in same BG of their choosing.
This honestly isn’t a terrible idea. Templates are garbage and dilute the RPG system that makes WoW PVP fun and engaging, but the leveling brackets aren’t assuring an even playing field. The queue times are abysmal right now, possibly because there are way too many brackets at the moment. Making ilvl brackets might alleviate that while allowing twinks the customization they enjoy.

The enchants are the bigger problem. Once you get to the high brackets the gear gap gets smaller. But the enchants are making the gap bigger. Leg and shoulder enchants are going for 3k+ in my AH. (Just checked for my lower level). There’s absolutely no way for a newer player to stay competitive without easier access to enchants.
Buy a token? Thats what everyone else does.

Nah man, you gotta wait till they sink a few more months into the game before we start hitting them up for more cash.
If you cant afford enchants, you probably cant afford heirlooms either. So then theres another issue.

I agree, but a newer player is STILL disadvantaged because it’s easy to enchant heirlooms once even at level 1, and those heirlooms can be traded. This isn’t a twinks fault.

Nah, quest gear is getting randomly updated now. Maybe in the 10-19 and 20-19 bracket (Where severe imbalance is already an issue) heirlooms will be better. But everything higher everyone is around the same.
Where do you think the new player starts?

I dont know if you’ve tested this out, but its about as likely to happen as epic upgrades at any other level. I’ve gotten about 10 epic upgrades on my questing from 20-64 so far, so banking on epics isn’t going to be viable.

Everything is around the same as it was with twinks from my leveling experience. Look up the character I did that battleground with and check my winrates. Its still stomp after stomp. And thats without using the BiS enchants. I couldn’t afford my servers price for Satyr/Elemental force.

Fine, they’ve gotta start somewhere. If they’ve gotta get beaten in PvP from levels 15-29, then fine. But it’s a LOT better than getting beaten all the way until lvl 120. Battlegrounds shouldn’t start being fun on your second created character. All these forum twinks are arguing like they are defending a choice to separate que’s. It happened already, it’s separated. And bashing the majority of players and blizzard isn’t going to get you anywhere.
All of the BG’s are better now without twinks. They aren’t perfect, but they’re better. Which is what most twinks don’t seem to realize.
I disagree. Twinks were the only thing holding Alliance low levels together. Without them the typical defeatest attitude kicks in because they’ve been told for years that Alliance loses their BGs. Hence, GY camping half my battlegrounds.
I used to be challenged from time to time… There is nothing better than killing twinks while leveling.

I don’t fully understand the suggestion. Is the idea to have brackets by ilevel rather than character level?
Its literally higher than this character… Its rediculous. This is the most rediculously geared twink I’ve ever had in the history of WoW (Besides Bonus armor in WoD)
