Yes, in a thread where I was arguing that enchants make up a BIG difference. I get the the twinking community is used to steamrolling their opponents, but surely they can put up a better fight than this?
I’m not a twink and wasn’t steamrolled when my team actually tried and was geared.

39 as well. I’m just going to start screenshotting the no gear/whites. People seem to think this isn’t an issue, yet I encounter it more often than not.

Yeah… I absolutely refuse to believe that.
That’s the thing. People just look at the scoreboard and see the end results.
Its a symptom of the attitude of the playerbase now. They feel that they shouldn’t have to gear in order to battleground. They don’t feel shame about entering in whites because they don’t care about their teammates. They care about their experience bar being filled.
I’m not in the habit of inspecting people I’ve been killing as I level, but I would wager quite a few of them were wearing white gear based off of how fast I killed them.

I wish I knew!! I’m as puzzled as you are on that. I’m srsly perplexed that this is a thing at all. I literally pop out of doing just Elwynn in full greens on the avg, so how on earth by 30-39 you’ve got open slots and white gear is a mystery to me.

No, like at 39 you’re literally showered with all kinds of gear. How does one go into a BG with whites or no gear at all? Is all the gear in their bag? Let’s not pretend it’s hard to get gear.
No because of how invested you are in twinking. You argue it with the tenacity of someone who was wronged by the change.
A BG is a level. At level 20 you start receiving green rather than white gear. Assuming 10 levels and you’re in the 30 bracket. Thats 10 chances at a new peice of gear. Thats a lot of chances to still be holding on to white gear.
Gear isn’t hard to get at all, thats why my aforementioned druid is killing it in BGs. I geared then entered because I care about my team. Also because I twink so I happen to know what happens to those who carelessly enter battlegrounds.

Right, and a new player is disadvantaged compared to everyone in every other area of the game as well. They don’t even have bags for crying out loud. I used to go hand out bags in starting areas whenever I did tailoring on another toon (which you can’t even do that now, since most aren’t on your server, but anyway).
It’s the nature of the beast. We all started somewhere.
There is never going to be a perfectly level playing field for all in a game of this design. I wish they’d just quit trying to make it that way, because it’s impossible and it’s ruining a once fun game for many people.

Because I’m not selfish enough to blame twinks (who now can’t get queues) when the real problem is people who have no interest in getting gear.
Clearly shows you are someone who just goes into a BG and doesn’t pay attention. This is a months old discussion and I’ve taken SS’s of people missing gear even in the 70s!

Even more proof that it’s happening on purpose. At 10-19 sure I get it, even though the starting quests give you green gear.

Maybe, maybe not. But you certainly can agree it shouldn’t happen.
I have at least 5 alts a month. How do you think us twinks got to each level? Having 5-6 twinks in each bracket requires a lot of leveling.
Lets not act like this though. I’m not attacking you. If i was leveling without heirlooms I’d probably have 5-6 white items on by 20.
