Hate to tell you, but you wouldn’t have gotten the mount anyway. Only the sweatiest of the sweatiest will get this mount. The fact that you are surprised/bothered that this is happening tells me that you aren’t sweaty enough. Been known for months that this is what it would be like.
Hate to tell you. It ain’t about the mount it’s about a even playing field that doesnt require manipulating the mechanics to achieve an action.
This should have been a action where alliance and horde went head to head to compete towards something instead… it’s a game where game mechanics were bypassed to have massive groups of two different factions working together in a bastardized method.
Do we need to list off every other release failure thus far? How could anyone expect anything other than this based on how the previous releases have gone and how the 2020 gaming community is like. Of course the ally and horde guilds are going to form mafia’s and communicate on discord. They have done it multiple times in the past already. This is what you get when you take a game from 2005 and reapply it to the 2020 gaming community where more game chat is done on discord than in the actual game chat.
Considering this isnt world PVP but mechanic exploitation then it’s a different story
In comparison
This is like a mage boosting
Vs
A bot using outside methods to make boosting easier
Same situation
A add-on used to distinguish different players based on what you set them as is a exploit. It’s a mechanic that allows those to know ahead of time the approach of someone that they set to be a enemy or foe.
You are mistaken. This is world pvp in its truest form.
And to succeed in world pvp a few factors come into play that you maybe aren’t used to. When resources are finite and odds are against you, you find ways through diplomacy and preparedness to get what you need.
Anything goes in wpvp and crying about it rarely helps.
I hope they DON’T do BC. Truthfully, I want my army of alts on a Classic server, not BC. And seeing how they screwed up Classic, I’d hate to see how they’d have to screw up BC because Arena.
Yes but this game was designed in an era when most (if not all) communication for the majority of players was done through the built in game text chat channels. Now more communication is done through discord and other forms of apps that are entirely out of Blizz’s control. In 2005 blocking chat between factions was very effective for the majority of playerbase because most didn’t have a 2nd account to log in on other faction with, and these server wide discord communities did not exist. What used to be a brick wall that could be scaled with some effort, is now nothing more than a line of chalk on the ground.
