I think the forums messed up my post, I intended to quote what you said to the first person who responded complaining about old-school flying going away.
BTW I loved that other trolls post saying me and 4 other people had the power to make Blizzard change Pathfinder. I dont think i’ve ever been complimented by a troll before.
Thanks troll, I DO have an insane amount of influence!
If WoW were a car game, it would be like having a tricked out Ferrari from the start of the game, but if you’re an obedient little player, jump through the right hoops and finish the campaign, you might just be lucky enough to earn back the old Toyota Corolla you already owned before the Ferrari.
Okay, until you’ve completed the leveling story in the new expansion, everytime you load into the game, Baby Shark plays at full volume, from dozens of slightly desynced speakers throughout your room.
It’s wonderful that you don’t have any issues with Dragonriding and enjoy it, but let those of us with issues with it want to play the game too!
It´s only 10 levels if the person is a seasoned player. New players have to level 80 levels and if you are new and are confronted with the difficult system of dragon riding, then this can be such a negative experience, that you quit before you even get to the easy mode flying that everyone can do.
As for me, I played one char through DF, for the very reason that I must dragon ride. It takes more time to do quests, it makes me fall from the sky each time I try to get on higher ground. Besides that, it´s just ugly and you can not truly enjoy the view and landscape on screen as you are so focused to not crash.
To level through DF, was the least fun I had in this game since Cata. I can´t use my flightform, I collide with rocks all the time, I can not just take off and land somewhere, no I must time every move I make perfectly to not waste my time.
Nah, I was so frustrated many times in DF, that I just stopped doing anything outdoors there.
I just don´t understand why people like it, but I also don´t understand why people like other stuff that I find a chore at WOW.
Not everyone is skilled enough to raid mythic, so do we make mythic raiding a requirement to unlock normal? No we don´t, so why make it this way with old school flying?
Why do we need to master the much harder way of travel, instead of using the easy mode from day 1 instead?
Sorry, it just makes zero sense to me and this is the only thing I hate about the presentation today. This expansion looked so great until Ion dropped this shocker…
No troll at all. Been playing 19 years. I just see the same 4-6 names in every 800 post thread complaining about tbc flying. And no matter how easy they make it, it isn’t easy enough.
So now you can move on to your next thing to complain over. Will it be you cant get to a boss event on time because everyone else is zooming along? Cause I guarantee there will be posts like that.
I’d rather have the old Corolla that doesn’t stall out and can take a corner. But I am happy for everyone that can keep their Ferrari. I’m annoyed that the Corolla needs to be unlocked for some reason. Especially because some people can’t drive the Ferrari.
Im pretty sure you wont be forced to dragonride. Just ground mount it. I mean DR 50 yards for a quest always felt silly anyway and I use my ground mounts for most of the leveling anyway. Its not till max level that you need to be anywhere quickly anyway
