Dungeons ques are not speedruns. This has gotta stop

If you can’t even find 4 friends that play your way, how can you blame random queued people for the same thing?

Yesterday was 10 years ago? Wow im old.

It is almost like I said more than this.
Yes, you are part of a negligible number of people who enjoy pretending that content from 10-20 years ago is current content.

Neither are you, thankfully, such a poor attempt at trolling

And if you’re not doing it to level?

I totally agree. You wanna speedrun, do Mythic+.

I’m really irritated by how queued PUGs work (and don’t work), and I agree with a lot of the points you’re making here, but I also know that Blizzard is 100% not interested in any content below M+, and they consider it a stepping stone to be finished as quickly as possible. It’s the destination, and anyone who values the journey doesn’t matter. I know this becuase even though some TW dungeons have been very mildly reworked to be more PUG-friendly, the basic mechanics of queued PUGs remains the same after years of complaints just like yours.

Again, I agree, but it’s really, really clear that Blizzard doesn’t care. Speed runs are what WoW is now. The only place where I can breathe is delves.

This isn’t what the OP sowed. They’re a part of the WoW community that doesn’t want constant crazy chaotic speed runs. They don’t matter to Blizzard, but they’re not alone, and they aren’t the ones who created this culture.

What if you aren’t doing it for xp?

Maybe I’m an outlier but I’ve been I’ve been killing EVERYTHING in my speed runs. I started running TW dungeons as the stereotypical level 11 Fury Warrior tank (I was bored and it’s hilarious) and I haven’t gotten any complaints. More often than not one or more people ask to queue again.

Quests don’t grant you any good loot upgrades (especially for level 80’s) and people are only going to do the bosses that are listed in timewalking.

If you want to do the quests in timewalking do it with a group who wants to do them too or que them regularly at the level that allows you.

You can go in the dungeon regularly and solo it easily if you want to collect the mogs from the quests.

Usually timewalking is for characters that are expansion level bracket, because it’s the anniversary they allowed levels 10+ to participate as well.

I do agree that we should be able to hit every boss on the side list and not skip it, because that’s missed badges and loot chances. Jade Palace is done often this way people always skip Strife and Peril. If the list is incomplete it shouldn’t count as a completed dungeon.

Tanks especially did this as well in remix, they would leave group after final boss kill and refuse to go to Strife and Peril. That is missed xp, loot and loot upgrade form quest.

Just because you dont understand doesnt make it wrong.

No, you didnt.

You made an assinine comment about people who enjoy things other than what you would consider enjoyable.

If you didnt, you wouldnt say things like…

So the fact that TW dungeons get ran all the time for different reasons only known to the person doing it makes them negligible?

Nope. They pay like you pay.

And how many of those reasons are to clear easy content slowly? I’d hazard a guess it is extremely few, if you can’t find a group to slow clear with in lfg.

Slowly is subjective, just like everything else you use as concrete evidence.

I dont have to give you a reason why I dont want to load into the instance and its half done, from the beggining.

I pay to play, not to watch someone who cant hack actual gameplay entertain themselves with m+ light.

Sometimes its annoying.

For instance I was leveling a DK and got into a TW Gun Drak with a Druid,Monk and 2 Shaman. I couldnt keep up. They reach the second boss and pull while I am still enroute.

No worry though right? Druid tank goes down, Monk drops, I show up, and Shaman both die then myself.

I release to and next thing I am back in Dornogal. “You have been removed fro. The group.” Deserter debuff for 30min.

I ask the druid whats happening and he said I was useless.

So that wasn’t enjoyable BUT I did get to work on some engineering and gear stuff.

It was funny they blamed the wipe on me though. From what the health bars were saying he didnt look to be prepared.

If TW doesn’t rise to the level of actual gameplay in your mind, why care?

Ok , I’ll play your little game. If I was a new person and I was in a group that was running instances over and over and my level were sky rocketing and it raining free gear for my character, I would never leave that group. I would probably be annoyed when the group broke up.

The next group I get into is a group that wants to pull one pack at a time and look at walls, maybe smell a flower or two, hell maybe they even walk through the dungeon, that group would annoy me, because MOST NEW PLAYERS want to get max level ASAP.

Here, is an absolutely genius idea, you complain the game is broken blah, blah , blah, but your solution is to break it more, real outside the box thinking there, any chance you had a sibling named Albert, you Einstein.

You do realize, blizz wants more inclusion, not less. I mean you want you want and that is how it should be. I guess my question for you is, do you always feel this entitled?

Actually, its not just the anniversary event, level 10s are now permanently able to do timewalking dungeons, if you go to your in-game calendar and go to February 18, 2025 and look at timewalking dungeons, you will see it say " While this event is active, players level 10 or higher may access" that’s well after the anniversary event is over.
