Dungeons have become a soulless, anti-social dopamine farm

I like to make up a bunch of nonsense and talk about how people should hate the game they’re playing instead of enjoying it too!

Dungeons have become garbage content. Designed so that people will buy tokens and pay gold for carry’s there is no other reason dungeons exist. Most dungeons have three bosses, packs of mobs that can easily be rounded up and sped down. No skill fast runs. Token sales are going to through the roof! Welcome to Ions pay-to-win wow

Use follower dungeons, one of the best things Blizzard ever added.

yeah man people definitely don’t have friends they like to run dungeons with and push to the highest level /S

They do but blizz doesn’t make money with guildies or friends actually trying to push content. They make money buying tokens for gold carry’s look at how theee new dungeons are layedout! They were designed for super fast runs so people will buy all kinds of tokens

I asked in 4 runs in a row about a class decision just to warch some opinions randomly. 0 answers at all

Welcome to 2011…

Just ran one earlier for the quest. Nice and casual. No drama. Loved it

Long OP but for no reason. It’d been that way since Classic. Guess how people would get into raid? By having their dungeon set.

Thanks for the explanation. It helps me not be so irritated with the speed runners if I think theres a reason beyond their egomania.

I had the bad luck of joining some silly leveling dungeons and people were jumping on healer for not healing, or tank not doing their role etc… all while the run was SUPER SMOOTH lol

I was in runs were tank just goes yolo and we almost die constantly.

All leveling dungeons mind you.

It’s just sad.

It turns me off from participating in the content.

Sure I can try to find people to run stuff with but why is it hard for normal ADULT people to work as a team in a game lol then they go yell how we are selfish or want a single player game.

Like FFS lol, this is the reason for that very thing.

That was 10 to 15 years ago. Even then we knew that running with Puggies had a high chance of ending in disaster. Sounds like your real character needs to be in a good guild. I’d recommend to start looking on an RP focused server.

And I said it before and I’ll say it again, vanilla wasn’t hard. It only felt hard due to the limited pc specs and internet connection of the early 2000’s.

Keep up old man or I’ll kick you from my group

And… an appeal to history makes it suck less?

I just befriended someone in a dungeon 2 hours ago… great healer and I let them know it. :man_shrugging:

Basically.

The most wordy I get in classic dungeon which still has need/greed is hey tank…mind if I roll offspec on this one boss/item if dropped.

They say go ahead, I roll the dice. they say they need it I go well next time I guess lol.

Why? Modern gamers spend more time gaming than they did 20 years ago. Blizzard just thinks everyone has the attention span of a Tik-Tok Zoomer.

Nah they’re in a rush to alt-tab back to their game of League of Legends

They should adapt the difficulty of the dungeons to the characters’ ilvl and place hidden rewards around the maps like chests and other things to make players have to search for treasures. For example, there could be hidden chests that would only be possible to open with boss keys for extra loot that would be better depending on the character’s ilvl.

Raid or deathers would not like that.

That was old wow, kind of. One actually had a reason to ask for rogue unlocks long ago. One had a reason to go cool, a chest.

For some if like me, exploring the world needs a payout. And I am not talking 4 gold at a vendor. Retail has that, hell so did first run by even tbcc.

I greed all rolls unless truly needed. Most do…we respect need most times. I’ve not seen rampant ninjya much anyway.
Otherwise its 5 people greed roll.

that brings in some gold off even vendor sales. Not having to wander the world for 20 minutes to get 1 hit.
