because you are jealous!
I’d gladly compromise with Blizzard over this, but I know trying to do that is pointless. Nerf zero efforting the game!
The only problem is your logic and sense of entitlement to other people’s time and energy.
Boosting is an optional service to partake in.
If you cannot find a group, it’s likely a you problem.
Is your ignore function broken?
a mage soloing zg packs was certainly not happening on my classic server in 06
Yeah, I still can’t do this. Simply being a Mage doesn’t mean you know how to do the skill.
I don’t mind the boosts or the payment. I am quite sure those boosted characters know their class REALLY well after they get someone else to level them.
The only thing that bothers me is the advertisement in LFG. It’s a TRADE transaction going on, not a legitimate group forming. Keep the spam for it in the TRADE chat channel where it belongs and let people looking for LEGITIMATE groups use the LFG channel, please.
Thanks.
Ah, but a Looking for Group can be looking for a boost group. I don’t mind seeing it. In fact, I prefer it over the Chit Chat that truly clogs up that Channel ![]()
It absolutely happened in vanilla. It just wasn’t 10-11 packs at once. People are doing the same things, just more efficiently.
Yes, it was most certainly a thing. When i was doing pally boosting a month ago on my main for my friends i was looking at youtube and found multiple clips back in 2006 of a pally showing the pulls on how he was boosting through SM.
Leveling isn’t hard, it’s just tedious.
This is just your opinion and not shared by Blizzard.
The game has been out for almost a year. Lots of people rushed to 60 in order to do things in the end-game. You might want to try rolling on a more populated server. Apparently I’m playing on a “dead server” but there’s still tons of people grouping for instances…
You have no evidence for this baseless aspersion.
It’s not an exploit.
Please do!
Well someone had to put in the effort to level to 60 and learn the pulls. Their customers had to put in the effort to earn enough gold for the services. So you have two people putting in a lot of effort in a collaborative effort rather than just one person solo questing…
Boosts build community.
While I agree, part of the problem is the chat functionality. LFG is the only channel that broadcasts gamewide, and its not reasonable to travel back to a city every time you need to replace a single person in the group.
If Trade chat worked outside of cities then you’d have a good point, but it doesnt.

All people do during a boost is AFK for 5 runs. I don’t think that’s doing much to build a community.
How do you know?
Because this is something people do a lot in boost runs.
How do you know? Do you sell or buy boosts?
I’ve been apart of boosts before when I thought people were just being nice to me. I guess they were just promoting their service now that I think about it.
I have nothing against people who dungeon boost, but I sure am glad I leveled my toon back in release.
Oh I see. And now that you got yours, you want them to ban it? I see.
Oh shut up with your detraction from my point. The WoW forums is full of trolls, which is why I suggest a in game content poll to avoid worthless comments like yours.
