Good thing you have until Blizzard decides to shut the TBC servers down to get flying
I had literally rerolled alliance to play a paladin in TBC, and so this change bothered me.
You’ll never get one.
Dual spec would be great for the game.
Don’t listen to these trolls who are scared they might lose their healer/tank role in the raid.
Go and farm gold if you want to respec every day.
So i need to spend upwards of 300g a day to do some arenas with my friends, go do some dungeons/raids, then back to BGs/arenas?
Sounds like you are nickle and diming the casuals…have fun with a dead game in 3 months because nobody can afford the costs of switching between PvP/pVe
I’m surprised you can type so accurately with your head that deep in the sand. There was an entire conversation which took place after that comment discussing just that.
You’re welcome to disagree but don’t pretend that other perspectives don’t exist.
Why are you respeccing six times a day?
No. Respect or level more characters.
I’m well aware of your continued trolling, yes.
I understand your perspective, even if I disagree with it.
So now I have to level 2 warriors to enjoy BGs/Arenas and raiding/Dungeons? LOL. These people are completely clueless. Do you even play the game? O wait, your level 21.
No. But you might need to level two toons if you want to have two concurrent characters who are highly specialised at two different things.
Yea, or pay the respec fee. Or just focus on one part of the game. Cann’t do everything in life. Make your choice.
I’ve yet to see anyone who’s anti-dual spec also be
A) Someone who legitimately enjoys multiple parts of the game
B) Someone who plays a character that would require them to respec constantly in order to play multiple parts of the same game effectively.
So no, I don’t believe anyone who’s against dual spec is any more than a troll. Especially when so many of the arguments against it devolve into slippery slope nonsense.
I enjoy multiple parts of the game. Not big on raiding because of other real life commitments but enjoy dabbling on some PvP, some group dungeons, some solo farming, etc.
My main is a Druid.
I never mentioned any slippery slope nonsense. I gave parables to explain why I feel the decision detracts from the spirit of the game.
That’s not true. I used to do arms pvp and tank as prot back in the day in my warrior. I would respec but not too often. Mainly I would focus on pvp as I loved bgs.
I can understand the negative sides of it and would prefer it to not be in the game. I explained in another thread.
So you enjoy dabbling. Does not require dedicated specs, so you can get away with whatever butchered spec you’re using.
A class that actually does have a solid hybrid spec for both PvP and PvE, while allowing you to solo dailies.
One hell of a slippery slope if I’ve ever seen one. Dual spec never had any of this gibberish with it.
There aren’t any. Besides trolls having one less topic they can get going on here.
Instead of cherry picking bizarre arguments (“Druids aren’t allowed to comment on dual spec!” / “Only players who hard-core raid AND hard-core PvP can comment on dual spec!”), why don’t you respond to this post. Bear in mind that my argument the current barriers for respeccing don’t go far enough, and I’d prefer to see a seven day cool down on respec.
The gold sink for dual spec was 1k gold. That meant you needed to decide whether it would be cheaper to have access to a 2nd set of talents vs just respeccing whenever it came up.
Your idea for a seven day cooldown is absolutely ludicrous. But I expect little else from dedicated trolls.
I’m not saying you’re not allowed to comment, just that you have less of an obvious horse in this race, and it’s easy to see that you in particular do not respec unless you absolutely have to.
Yes, players who would actively use dual spec are the only players it would actually effect. Hence why I call most of you trolls, because you obviously barely use the respec option as it is.
