I can dislike both
It’s telling that many people who make these threads can’t spell ‘dual’.
Utterly insignificant in Classic. Everyone knows the best ways to generate gold, now.
The logical conclusion of your argument, therefore, is that only certain classes should be able to dual spec? Since it disproportionately impacts certain classes?
Actually, I love healing as a Druid but must constantly respec feral for solo play and farming. Plus, tanks are more in demand than healers. 🤷 And the whole “it doesn’t impact anybody but the person!” argument is such a cop out. There are a myriad of changes which would “only impact the person who uses it” but that’s not a good enough reason to put them all in.
Also, you didn’t even acknowledge my argument, lol - you just responded to the parts you wanted to see. And yet you have the arrogance to say nobody ever gives an argument against dual spec and dismiss anybody with whom you disagree as a troll.
Hear that everybody? The dual spec that only 20% of the player base could afford was the reason the expansion was heralded as the best ever.
Are you trying to demand I feed the trolls?
You must have 5/5 in Deflection.
When I’m prot, certainly.
I hope you’re a troll, and that you’re not that blissfully ignorant in your refusal to consider alternative perspectives.
I also know for a fact that you’ve “Liked” my posts before. Speaks very poorly of you if you’re happy to condone my “trolling” where it suits your agenda.
I mean a small amount of people.
But if you were “perma broke” I seriously doubt you had the patience to ever save enough money: post buying the cold flying you could get from questing as it was already expensive enough.
I did it the other way around in Wrath, I had dual spec, I didn’t have flying. I just got summoned to where I needed to go.
Maybe you’re newer to forums than I am, but sometimes, people troll one topic but are honest in others, and I can respect that
I would say out of the dozen or so people I’ve engaged with on the dual spec topic, only 2 of them are hardcore, dedicated, forum-wide trolls.
orly
The fact of the matter is all we have are opinions. I think dual spec is the wrong solution to the original problem. You think it is an apt solution.
The only difference between is that only one of us is running around screaming “TROLL! TROLL! Me being right means everyone else is in a conspiracy against me!”
“I was perma broke” but also “It wasn’t hard to get another 1000 gold”
Meanwhile… the guy directly above you says he chose one over the other. Lmao.
Yes, as I stated in another thread. We’ve got people wanting to talk about a QoL change that Blizzard has in no way indicated they’re interested in including for TBC. And then we have people who seem to think the sky is falling for people daring to discuss QoL improvements to the game.
This reaction got a chuckle out of me, thank you for that. You (the royal you, btw) have gotten at most, an exaggerated eye-roll from me.
It was only a slight exaggeration. Again:
Shrugs. Whatever happens, happens. I’d prefer to not see Dual Spec in the game but I probably wouldn’t quit over it. I know Blizzard will not add a cooldown on respec, though I believe it is an option which addresses the problem instead of merely shifting it. I’m just a guy sitting in the bath with a smartphone, what do I know.
People who go to mmo-champion?
Aka the wow community besides a select few elitests on the forum who enjoy one piece of content and want to screw over the people who enjoy all aspects.
I don’t think you understand the problem
NO. TBC Classic should be faithful to TBC. All of these threads wanting this changed or this added, it’s ridiculous. Go play retail or wait for WotLK.
You are already enjoying QoL changes you don’t even realize…
Not even talking about layering, store bought mounts, character boosts…
Who said I’m enjoying that? That was FORCED upon us. I am totally against layering and any Shop in Classic.
This still does not change my initial comment.
