Duel Spec compromise, reduce respec cost

Make respect top out at 25g. It’s less programming then adding duel spec, it’s still a decent deterrent to just respecting every day, and it helps those of us in heal or tank specs actually be able to play the game solo.

No. Go back to Retail.

You absolutely said it. The 50g max is deterrent to respec exactly what it’s meant to do. Imagine if you couldn’t respec but had to reroll lmao would be a joke. So something to deter it is an actual price to make you consider the price of just changing whenever. With gold becoming more common makes 50g not mean as much at least.

why are you playing classic ? They added chrono boon. No changes right? Go to retail

Yah add dual spec they already made a million changes

thats not a compromise. that doesnt fix the problem dual spec was intended to fix.

The whole going to a class trainer is the bigger deterrent, imo.

Nah guilds can just put a warlock on the trainer and skip that drama

Compromise: retail exists.

New Compromise. Add Dual Spec because it makes the Game Better.

Second Compromise, don’t listen to people gold rich who can change specs for every piece of content when they feel like enjoying something different or people who are only interested in a single piece of content so dual spec doesn’t matter to them.

I’d advocate going in the opposite direction. Add a real time cool down on respec (say, 7 days) so that players are forced to commit to a specialisation. Break the respec / dual spec meta.

That genius. That way players can either choose, “I can either PvE with half my friends, OR PvP with the other half”

Personally I think its a good idea when you force players to only enjoy one piece of content.

Or, roll another character if you want to have everything at your finger tips. Get some players back in Azeroth.

Everyone who has a different opinion to me is trolling.” You, probably.

In all seriousness, dual spec argument has it the wrong way around. Respeccing was designed as a punishment to deter constant changing specs, not an administrative formality.

If players are so tired of being expected to constantly respec then let’s remove the option to do so. Easy.

You are 100% correct on this. Then they realized that forcing people to customize their character for only a single piece of content when the dev team was designing a lot great avenues for players to enjoy the game was a BAD DECISION.

Hence why dual spec was added and LK was heralded as the best expansion of WoW.

You can pve with pvp spec and pvp with pve spec, no one is stoping you but yourself.

It is not fun to gimp your character, and there is no real reason for you to have to have less fun.
