Little bit worried about them adding additional restrictions to it. The hybrid spec argument is so incredibly weak. Making a feature worse because a tiny percent of the playerbase are utilizing these “hybrid” specs is just absurd. The people playing these hybrid specs are already in guilds that aren’t bothering to min-max, and Dual Spec won’t somehow force them into a role.

We were already restricted by not having it in classic and crusade. Wrath will be time for them to finally fork it over without a fuss.

One restriction is very important.
NO spec swapping mid raid. It needs a 30-60 minute cool down and can only be activated in a city.
You may not appreciate why this is important but if you were in a speed running guild or parse guild you’d understand why spec swapping mid raid under mines your place on the roster and makes you less valuable as a class to have a round.
People swapping specs between bosses undermines the point of the game and deteriorates role/class identity.

LoL that’s pretty funny he admits dual spec is so popular they can’t outright remove it but they will passive aggressively limit it.
I expect that to go over as well as how they handled flying.
