Dual spec literally offers no downsides. If hardcore raiders/guilds want to minmax raids by having trash spec and boss spec. LET THEM, WHO CARES?! Its .01% of the WoW population that would “abuse” this feature, meanwhile it’d help the remaining 99.99%.
No, Nightbane would not be a lot easier with Dual Spec. If you can two heal it, you two heal it. If you can’t two heal it, you save it for last and have someone go respec to heal it.
What changes?
I don’t even know why I’m getting into this. There’s a million and one ways to solve this make believe problem.
thats not what they said, they were arguing (much like you do) that since there are already negative changes in the game the door is open for all changes. the “fallacy” strikes again.
“majority of players” want it = i want it and have no real data to back it up
You know, you’ve convinced me. Pitch it. Make that post. Let’s see the s roll in as the “majority of players” show their undying support for this proposal.
pitch it? hardly seems necessary. instant, unlimited teleportation to any location is a feature every player would use and has no real downsides. it should obviously be added, right? I mean, unless you can come up with a reason why it would be somehow bad for the game.
Obviously yes. Unfortunately, the since Blizzard will never see widespread support because folks like you don’t make posts about it and would rather make proposals on throwaway alts, I doubt we’ll ever see it in action.
A shame, really.
Nope. Seems like sound reasoning. I’m sure the rest of the playerbase would agree, naturally. Too bad there’s no way we could implement a survey or something to confirm your hypothesis, but I’m sure you’re right about this. It’s gotta be the right thing to do.
oh good. I’m glad you agree that instant, unlimited teleportation to any location is a feature that should be added to TBC classic. It certainly has as much merit to be added as dual spec, if not moreso!
If they’re not going to remove level 58 boosts and fix the botting issue → destroying the economy. Then yes, removing gold sinks is a fine idea. Either way, people are buying tons of tbc gold and ruining the game worse.
It would help people who want to tank quest, but it won’t increase the amount of people who want to tank.
However, it would be way easier to just cap the respec cost to about 10G to allow players to specc between PvP and PvE, or Tank/Heal and DPS spec without breaking the bank.
