Don’t get me wrong, i agree it would help. The problem is just how much? I would argue that it would slightly help while doing what i saw throughout the years, people just used the 2nd spec for pvp mostly or vice versa for the more hardcore pvprs instead of being hardcore pvers.
He can’t, because I pointed out that even if we take dual spec into the literal meaning of the words, retail has it with demon hunters. Because he was trying to pass off the respec any time as not being dual spec cranked up to 11/10.
Wasn’t your primary grievance with Dual Spec the “fact” that it devalues your Tank/DPS class? Didn’t I debunk that by proving Prot Warriors do it just as well, or better than Feral Druids?
The fastest Druid/Warrior Kara clear in the world (5th overall) has the Druid as MT and the Warrior as OT.
The reason “we” want dual spec. Meaning a lot of people.
Just take a look at those s
Mmm, delicious!
Well, if the recent changes to BGs and Powershifting are any indicator…
I think that’s another benefit to adding dual spec. Getting more people more active in more parts of the game is a good thing in my opinion.
Current Kara group I run with is me and a Prot Paladin tanking. Whenever I’m not tanking, I’m doing Cat stuff.
I wonder how my raid group would react if I just remained in Bear form the entire raid and said, “Sorry, I won’t go Cat because it devalues my class!”
this is an argument I think is reasonable and should be your primary focus.
Not just your opinion, but also an opinion shared by former Blizzard developer Greg Street who said the following:
“We really felt like this was a great way to increase the flexibility available to players and encourage them to take part in more aspects of the game…”

I really wish you would stop repeating arguments I’ve already countered unless you have an actual rebuttal to that counter because all it does is make this entire thing circular over, and over, and over again.
You can’t keep mentioning or using other changes made to justify the reasoning why dual spec should be added.
“Well they did x and y!” is not and never has been, an effective argument for why Blizz/anyone should do z.
Please, I’m begging you at this point.
You want me to stop repeating myself?
Pot, meet the kettle.
Yes, the definition of circular is that we keep having to repeat ourselves. Good job.
However, I made an argument that it is your fallacious logic that is creating the the circularity, to which you have no counter because, undoubtedly to anyone who can read, you are the one who keeps doing it.
Id be happy with dual spec. Pvp and pve tyvm.
Yes, you’re just another person whose only means of engaging a discussion is to refer to the dictionary all the time when other people disagree with you rather than engage the topic itself.
Oh thank you for opening this up so easily for me.
Stating “duel spec isn’t in retail” seems like referring to the dictionary def of dual spec, rather than the topic itself, which for most occasions were if you want convivence of spec changes, retail has that.
So again,

Says the guy that was trying to say retail didn’t have dual spec because tri spec, yet forgot that demon hunters have dual spec because they only have 2 specs. (Druids have quad spec, but hay, no dual spec in retail right? Lol).
times or hour long waits for tanks?
Roll a tank, problem solved. No? Well then, try fishing while you wait.
Dual spec and adding a couple more tank classes hasn’t helped at all in retail. Why would it work here?
Why would it work here?
Asked the same question regarding the recent implementation of same-faction BGs.
Simple answer is that Blizzard tests these things and asks for feedback. Based on feedback, they make further decisions on how to proceed.
This is also why they gave Powershifting back to Feral Druids. Players tested it and send feedback and so Blizzard responded appropriately.
With regard to dual-spec, it’ll be the same way, I reckon.
There’s a plethora of reasons for the tank shortage and this aint one of them

Gee, did I miss where they tested dual spec out recently?

Yep, they will surely be testing it out… in WotLKC beta. Enjoy!

What makes you so sure they’re doing WotLK Classic?
Gee, did I miss where they announced that recently?
