Dual Spec solves Tank shortage

I and others have done that dozens of times. At a certain point there is no purpose served in repeating ourselves to people who don’t read or can’t comprehend. The only purpose left is to respond to keep the topic on the front page so it’s more likely to come to the attention of blizzard

Well, the thread gets bumped and more pro-dual spec people add :heart:s which Blizzard will take note of.

Okay, so you recently stated that all the listed changes are constant small improvement over time to achieve the goal.

A goal yet unachieved in shadowlands.

if can admit that these are all gradual changes, with the assumption that each one has a small but possibly insufficient

Why would you believe that dual spec would have a sufficient improvement, if by your words, it likely didn’t in the past.

Insufficient to solve the problem but sufficient to reduce wait times for dps looking for a group.

But you have no evidence of that.

Blizzard has no evidence the new BG changes will work either.

If only they had ways of testing this…

So I was curious. Why do you think
“retail doesn’t have dual spec”
Isn’t a statement made in bad faith?

Intellectually honest people admit when they lack data to prove their opinions. You’re the ones who are lying about that. Or perhaps you’re just not smart enough to realize you’re just posting your opinions too.

I think to him, taking 1 second off the wait times for dps is enough reason to add dual spec because he doesn’t actually care about dps wait times, he wants dual spec for his personal desires, not for the overall health of the game. He’s a healer, not a dps. He has near no gold and isn’t lvl 70 yet.

So he’s a casual that wants convince of dual spec because he doesn’t have the gold to constantly respec. Nor does he have the time to farm for gold because he hasn’t gotten to level 70 yet, showing he lacks the ability to play the game time wise to a point he is at casual levels of play time.

This is based on what he has said himself. In this and other dual spec threads.

He doesn’t actually care about the tank shortage he is trying to hide behind that flawed reasoning as it’s the only leg he has to stand on.

The closest to a gap that existed was that we wanted to have more tanks available, especially for pick-up groups. But adding the dual-spec feature as well as improving some of the limitations of the existing classes has helped to fill that hole as well.

Ding ding, nailed it.

He’ll ride the coat tail “It’s better for everyone!” all day, but at the end of the day we know.

More WOTLK interviews to justify adding dual spec in TBC…wew lads…it never ends.

Yeah, because I’m supposed to find evidence that Dual Spec helps with the tank shortage BEFORE IT EVEN EXISTED?

Come on.

As if I have no other alts but the one I’m posting on now. By your standard you don’t play classic and have only gotten one character to level 10 in retail.

What Blizz says and what actually happens doesn’t always play out the way they intend.

The entire symbiosis of changes being necessary to begin with has to do with them discovering that stuff they did didnt work. Thats the reason any changes have been made to TBCC.

We know, from history, it didn’t play out the way they hoped.

Oh, I’ve already pointed this out several times. Both Shivana and Zipzo don’t seem to understand that personal opinions have no inherent objective value.

At least Zipzo seems somewhat honest. Shivana and Redhead just resort to outright dishonesty over and over again.

The reason you want dual spec is literally just that as well, personal opinion.

As to which holds more value to Blizzard? IDK, we’ll find out.

You stated your priest was your main did you not?

Your main isn’t level 70 yet.

Also I posted on my main before when it was asked for. Guess what? He’s level 70 and I’m 700g away from epic flying. And I haven’t been actively farming gold. I started tbcc with about 350g. Gold is easy to get in tbcc. You just have to PLAY the game. Something you have shown you don’t have the time to do.

Maybe one day you will reply this.
