Patrick Dawson: âNo changesâ being our guiding principle for WoW Classic made it very easy to make decisions on it. We just went to the reference client and went to that. But one thing we learned as we went through the release of the content in Classic is that [no changes] may not always be in the best interest of the players. Putting back in things like spell batching made the game feel a little less crisp. It was authentic, but itâs not what modern players want. The community today is so different from what the community was back in 2007 that it had us take a different philosophy with Burning Crusade , where we actually started to allow ourselves to make some changes that were in the best interests of the players that will continue to develop alongside the community.
why would I do that ?
You can keep ignoring it because you donât like it if you want, but this shows that that quote saying some changes will happen doesnât mean any and or all changes will happen
like I said to the other guy the only thing faithful in this version are the raids*
until they f all over with nerfs cause people cant taunt or get out of crap on the ground
Because they are breaking the rules and are contributing to the bot problem by buying gold.
So your justification is because other bad changes have happened, they should make more bad changes?
Ya, thatâs not how it works.
well dual spec would solve that problem at least for pvp players
if it was a bad change it wouldânt be in the game until this day.
Blizzard did when they explicitly stated that they would consider changes for TBC Classic.
Dual spec isnât in retail any more. Because it failed to fix the tank shortage, improve player participation, exc.
They changed it to a different system.
If your goal is what you say it is, why are you not asking for the improved system that was deemed better than dual spec?
sure do that, Im asking for dual spec cause Im a coder and I know it will be easier for then to code that insted of the specs we have on retail but sure do it
btw they changed to that system cause people wanted a third spec so they revamped everything with the new tallents thing not cause it failled âŚ
Dual spec isnât in retail because talent trees arenât even in retail any more, and that change involved a lot more than just letting you have 3 sp[ecs.
And the current system in retail was widely disliked when it was added in MoP.
well dual spec would solve that problem at least for pvp playe rs
No it wouldnât, pvpers might want a raid spec, or a farming set.
This was an issue in wotlk and led to people asking for a tri spec.
Patrick Dawson: continue to develop alongside the community.
what? of course they want a raid spec ⌠???
what? of course they want a raid spec ⌠? ??
Point was thereâs more than just a raid spec and a pvp spec.
So dual spec wonât stop them from buying gold.
Authentic recreation
So your justification is because other bad changes have happened, they should make more bad changes?
No, it just shows that you donât have a clue where blizzard thinks that balance is between some changes and authentic.
