Dual Spec.. please?

You’re funny, people don’t actually cry over a hobby. We discuss.
As I said before, those changes were unnecessary. This game played just fine back in 07, you can play it just fine now. You’ll get more additions on Classic Wrath, or Classic Plus.
Enjoy :slightly_smiling_face:

So you are trying to tell me. That Wrath of the Lich King wasn’t popular because of the story of Arthas many people grew up with, (Which btw you can read game reviews that go crazy about how awesome the story was but you’ll be hard pressed to find 10/10 Dual Spec simulator FTW) but was popular because of the introduction of Dual Spec? Wow…

Wrath was popular because of DeathKnights to lesser was Heirlooms and time and point in history of MMORPG’s. Dual Spec and Normalizing of classes were big but more a bonus for current players as new players wouldn’t understand the benefit of that.

Some folks just happen to live at the center of the universe. Crazy right?
He certainly lives up to his race.

I need some citation on any of this. I can go to Gamefaqs and a slew of other pages and their game reviews have yet to reference heirlooms or Dual Spec. I see the LFG system mentioned briefly. But it’s all about the story, the atmospheres, etc. So I’d some some source.

Thank you for trying to put your words in my mouth.

Bottom line Dual Spec is an an unblemished good for the game, everyone wins, no one loses and there is is not one cogent argument agaisnt having DS in the game right now other that the #nochanges dinosaurs.

Some of us just want to watch the world burn I guess

I never thought of my friends by their spec. I doubt many did. I never knew if my hunter friend was BM or MM. He was just my hunter friend. I never knew what spec my warlock friend was using. I suppose some did but I never played in that min/max world that required players to have some specific spec to play the game. I just played with friends for fun and didn’t check out and evaluate every part of their character.

You have zero proof it is good for the game. If we are coming here telling you that we don’t want it, then clearly you are operating on opinion and not fact. We believe otherwise.

Those aren’t my words… that is an interview with the guy who implemented dual specialization talking about how he regrets it lmfao

Sure there is. It played just fine in 07, in fact all content was cleared.
It isn’t necessary. :sunglasses:

So your raid is short some classes. “Everyone we need 3 DPS and a healer. Ask your friend lists”

You don’t just go “Hey I have this druid.” You say “Hey I have a resto druid.” Or “Hey I know an enhancement shaman.” Many of us indeed do refer to our friend’s class by spec as spec defines their role and what they contribute to said group. Homogenization of classes and this God awful “Be whatever whenever” destroyed that identity, which Ghostcrawler was very fond of during his stint with Blizzard.

The proof is history with LK along with many other good changes brought the game to its most popular.

Your arguments destroyed…next.

Again, citation needed. I can provide game reviews where Dual Spec isn’t heralded as the champion of the expansion, let alone as more than a passing note in one of the reviews I’ve read so far. So, source?

And the game played just 'fine without Alliance having Seal of Blood, or honour changes any othe myriad of the changes theyve already made.

See yeah #nochanges Dinosaur.

You further devalue what little argument there is for dual specialization in tbcc

coulda woulda shoulda
fact is, it wasn’t in TBC
so it won’t be in TBC classic

I provided the historical fact that LK was the most popular and that Dual spec was widely acclaimed and supported by the lead derringer as adding flexibility and choice

You offer nothing to counter any of that

Again your arguments are empty.

wait you’re serious aren’t you lol
