Yeah dual spec was actually a pretty cool feature when it got added. Made things really nice from a playstyle perspective to be able to swap easily between two different specs. Fun.
The most fun I had in Wrath was pugging Naxx 10 with a tiny guild (raiding for the first time) late in the exapc on my druid alt when I finally burned out. I had to switch specs often based on who we could get for any particular night and it was definitely cool to be able to adapt like that rather than bring a different class.
I kinda wanted to play something harder than Wrath though lol.
I had some fun times in WOTLK but it definitely had its downsides that are often forgotten in favor of the more fun stuff.
P1 of WOTLK was awful, for example. It was way too long for how easy the content was (It was almost as bad as TBCC p1), while at the same time being content rehash (though admittedly very little people had Naxx exp).
TOC was also terrible. The boss fights were interesting but it was a lazily designed raid, and for a good portion of it there was 4 difficulties that did not lock each other out which meant maximizing badges was running this same one-room raid 4 times a week. Painful AF.
ICC and Ulduar are the shiny spots. TBH I think Ulduar is the greatest raid they ever made.
I always PvP’d but I was largely a 40/25 man raider and by mid Wrath many of the people I had played with for years started drifting away or radically altering their approach to the game - at some point I just went major pvp focus and never really looked back.
I enjoyed Wrath to an extent because I played the RTS Warcraft games and had a vested interest in the Arthas story line which I liked how they handled in the game but other than that I got nothing nice to say about Wrath.
My best times with WoW were Vanilla+TBC and while the revival has been a big ol dud for me Id like to keep it as close as possible to TBC until it runs its course. After that I dont care what happens.
Cant say I care, I was responding to another poster. Maybe this is one of those aforementioned thread bumps for exposure /shrug.
Good news is I will be spending less and less time engaging with people who just waste everyone’s time by posting like you do. I wish you luck in your future fruitless endeavors of obtaining dual specs that way.
Let me thank you in advance for helping me secure a dual specless TBC future.
I think maybe we should start a new thread and title it “cant-live-without-dual-spec support group” for those who feel extremely aggrieved by the idea that we won’t get it.
I mean I just want to do my part to lift them up. They’re obviously distraught.
