If you weren’t paying attention to or you misunderstood what the devs said about BC that’s on you. You were clearly told that no changes was not a part of BC.

And I got that - that doesn’t mean dual specs are on the table though. I dont know why you guys keep failing to understand that.

Some pro dual spec people kept posting a video where devs were saying they couldnt take a no changes approach to TBC after seeing what happened in Classic and claimed it was proof that dual specs can be a thing if enough people wanted it but 5 sec after the dev said what he did he went on to say that their intentions were to be as faithful to TBC as possible.

Um yeah alright. TBC didnt have dual specs, TBCC doesnt have dual specs because thats TBC for you. Dual specs come in - game changed in a big way because thats not true to TBC. Bam. There’s your proof.

I said it’s an assumption that blizzard will always opt for the more convenient option. I didn’t say they would never opt for the more convenient option. The two claims are not equivalent.

I’m basically suggesting that your confidence that a constant petitioning of Blizzard will work is perhaps optimistic.

I don’t think it would be based solely on constant petitioning, it would be based on blizzard actually seeing the negative consequences of no dual spec in game.

Of course dozens of people have pointed out that if that’s the problem dual spec could be on a cool down and require the player be in a major city.

It probably isnt. But no one is gonna see it until we’re all several weeks into Sunwell at the earliest if I had to guess. There’s been too much lip service paid to keeping it authentic as they can. Blizz loves to whip out their big catch up mechanics before the inevitable drought.

Hell, knowing Blizz I wouldnt be surprised if it ended up as a cash shop item. Or maybe when they drop the facade and remove the restriction on boosts (now including the races new to TBC). None of that is happening before all the phases have been run.

I could be wrong but even if I am I couldnt be any more wrong than someone who thinks some changes means dual specs is a near guarantee in the immediate future.

Some people are thoroughly convinced dual specs are totally something Blizz is considering because they never said they werent considering it, they take player feedback seriously, they already made changes, they bailed the horde out etc.

When people assume dual specs are definitely on the table cuz somechanges when do you think they want them? Now or 5 months from now? When people say the game is gonna die real soon unless they bring in dual specs whats their ETA for the death?

As far back as TBCs release (if not before) there were people prophesizing that we would see dual specs well before the end of TBC.

Okay, how likely do you think it is that it will happen? If DS coming in is within a realm of possibility that means its also possible that its not coming to TBC. With your best educated guess what are the odds?

Given they’ve added same faction BG’s and have officially neutered premades in BG’s? I’d say 50/50 for adding dual spec.
