just to keep talking? Or was that really an attempt to make an argument out of it?
I mean, take the argument of pèwpéwpêw: They were able to implement same faction bg just like that. How hard can it be to change the system to be able to have two specs, especially when the code was already made 13 years ago?
And if it really would be that hard, they could just reduce the cost for respec to a maximum of like 1g or something, right?
Retail is not bad because of it’s features. And original TBC didn’t had paid boosts, same faction bgs, daily quests (only in the last few weeks) and so on.
Dual spec come with wrath though and wrath was probably the most played expansion ever. So only because it isn’t a original feature doesn’t mean it’s bad for the game!
But you can respec in open world for example.
Anyways, same argument stays. If it would be too much work to implement dual spec, they could still change the respec fee to 1g for example. I am 100% sure it’s not hard to change a number within the code, without that the game explodes!
Trying to cater to everyone in every game just diminishes the experience overall. Not every game needs an open world sand box crafting system ubisoft. I prefer games that appeal to niches so the enjoyment per game is higher. More games than time after all.
And here you go again: why do you think you are able to judge? Or in your words: Maybe it’s not up to you to say them if the game is what they want or not.
They can ask the devs at any time the change the game. You can have an opinion about that, but you can’t decide for them to have an opinion and wish, or not.
But honestly, your arguments get worse with every post and you give the impression that you are only discussing for the sake of discussing. To go into this further with you is simply a waste of time.
So feel free to talk to yourself if that is what makes you happy, but don’t expect any more replies from me, as everything is said!
I mean if they are unhappy with playing a VIDEO GAME then I think it is personally reasonable to say that they might want to stop engaging in that PURELY VOLUNTARY ACTIVITY.
Also its a forum, its literally here for people to discuss things, if you want an echo chamber mirrors are over there, next to the self-help books.
Anyone here remember the arguments for getting rid of talent trees?
There were never any real choices, everyones cookie cutter: I mean there were, you could do your own thing - but you’d be ostracized by at least half the people around you if not more. Player created issue, “wants” it cleaned up. So the players cant play outside their cookie cutter norms or without their overgear crutch. The devs take the cop out and dont bother making talent trees more interesting because if they did everyone would freak out for 12 months, and then figure it all out again anyway not too mention the work and testing involved in such a thing. RPG sacrificed for convenience - the answer to never any real choices was to make sure it stayed that way (lol) becauuusseee…
You put in LFD, now youre forcing me to play with scrubs who dont know how to talent and need to L2P: Yep, that was real and that was one of the reasons for the “streamlining”. So people would make “fewer mistakes”. Player created issue, wants it cleaned up. So you ask for the LFD convenience for extra quick random groups and once you get that, you need the no real choice talent convenience to make dungeons even more convenient.
But too high if you need to pay it several times a week. From the content I prefer I am not getting rich, so I need to spend time with other things to get it paid.
So when I have 1 hour time to play arena, but I need to make a few dungeons to be able to spec to PvP first and back to raid spec again later, I won’t play arena, because that is the time I need to earn the gold for the respec fee. So I will spend the time in other games or what ever, but not in the game. How does that help anyone?!
Easy to understand, right? Great, so stop trying to get my attention with such pointless comments!
