Not for me, I enjoy healing in PVP. You are literally telling me to do something different from what I enjoy to be able to play the game…how is that fun?

Then why add HvH?
Why add Seal of the Martyr?
Why add a Level 58 Boost, a mount, and a new hearth animation?
Why add any these things?
Nobody “needs” any of those things.
I wonder if this is because Blizzard is open to giving players what they want?

Cool, I dont need T6 gear but I definitely want it. Ill start a thread asking for it and use HvH as my basis for having my request fulfilled.

Skill is hamstrung (or augmented by) gear and spec. This isn’t complicated.
Yeah it doesn’t follow in the slightest. If somehow we’re going to see an influx of bad Tanks giving good Tanks a bad name, we’re still getting more Tanks in the mix and people get more runs through, even if some of those runs are slower and scuffed.
It only kinda makes sense if you suspend all disbelief and assume a distant end-state in which people become so disenchanted with PuGs in a 5man that good Tanks stop going because of all the abuse since people assume Tanks are all bad, and the bad Tanks stop queuing because they suck, so the net result is less players all around… which… yeah…
Stretch doesn’t even remotely do that justice.
This just tickles me pink because on the one hand I’m a horrible anti-fun gatekeeper for not just accepting anything and everything people want to accomplish without critique but HEAVEN FORBID less than quality folks try to Tank because of Dual Spec because there might be Consequences™

Sounds good, a faster content release schedule would probably be better for the game and lead to less raid logging also.
No, no. I want it now and mailed to me so when I log in tomorrow its there and I can just equip it. No one would really be affected by this and its what I want so obviously Blizz should cater to me.
The positives would be I do better DPS which is beneficial to my groups so no one can say its bad.

Hey, just let him make the post and get whatever support he think he can get. Remember it’s players “plural.” Meaning he actually has to get massive support for whatever he wants. I certainly won’t back it, but I won’t trod on his head-fantasy.
Dual Spec already has massive support behind it. Most of the player-base wants it. It’s a shoe-in.

Its not an exaggeration, its the very logic used for dual specs. Is it more of an extreme example? Sure, but the reasoning doesn’t account for this so its on the table.
And I dont need to garner support for it either. If Blizz went full pay to win like that it people would be tripping over themselves to get it.

Saying something is possible doesnt mean you have to do it. Its just pointing out that the need for dual spec isnt necessary and would create more problems
You dont NEED to do anything. A point was made that someone simply “COULDNT” pvp as feral tank spec. And i made a point that you absolute COULD and be VERY useful doing it on MULTIPLE battlegrounds. Whether you find it fun or not is irrelevant because im sure there are tons of people who do find it fun and tons who dont
It might increase your play time but it would create more raid loggers based on how many people play min max only and want to accomplish as much as possible in as little time invested as possible. More players would be inclined to pvp as much as possible and only raid when necssary. Or do each as much as only necessary. Having less player participation in people looking for groups is absolutely bad for the game wym LOL?
Adding dual spec affects everyone who are trying to participate in dungeons and heorics. Not just the people who utilize it.

So when we presented the point that “id prefer to stay fury or arms and tank the dungeon with skill and optimal gear because its more fun for me, you and others tore that argument down because ‘youre not taking the game seriously’” So are we allowed to play the game in the way thats fun for us or do we only have to play whats optimal and thats the only way we’re allowed to have fun?
Because 65% of the playerbase couldnt even use half of the games intended features

Part of the forum is to make suggestions that will further enhance the game experience for a large amount of the playerbase. And yet you stand there and argue against it, when not a single reason could legitimately question it.
Most wow players have a real life they need to pay attention to. The devs should be very aware of that.
Get for real guys, dual spec wouldn’t harm you or the game, but make it even more enjoyable. That’s the simple truth!
And you don’t have to be in the forum and talk to me, but somehow you still want to.
Same for “us”, the majority of people who want dual spec, with the optimal spec. We maybe, just maybe don’t need to, but we want to!
