It is very simple, if you don’t expect yourself to have to play with any modicum of skill, prep, gear, etc, don’t expect others to do any differently.
Seems pretty extreme that its all or nothing. No shades of grey in that set?
I buy the expensive gems and enchants, does that mean I am being carried because I dont want to use food or flasks in dungeons?

You either go to a group planning on being useful or you go planning on screwing around… don’t expect others to be useful while you screw around.
Really? So screwing around and doing more damage than other members means I am not being useful?

I am confused, are you defending being the optimal spec or being less than optimal?
I am contesting the concept of people being carried because they are not being 100% optimal at all times.

Im not struggling, when did I say I had a problem with other people doing it as well? Just trying to understand since we are using the same word but it obviously means something different to the two of us and trying to reach an understanding.
Our tank did a janky prot build for a few weeks because he was having fun with it. Cleared the content all the same although windfury goes brr and I died 1-2 extra times during the run. It was pretty funny.
Apparently that means we carried him.

Must be personal preference, I don’t find dying multiple times fun because someone couldn’t do their job.
You’re taking a grave amount of offense at the simple notion that people shouldn’t go into groups expecting people to react to mobs, deal damage, CC, etc, to the overall success of the group while you go in and dink around.
Why would I be offended? Just because I want to understand your opinion does not mean it actually matters to me. Or do you think forums are meant to be an echo chamber where your words are treated as gospel?

Don’t be surprised they want an echo chamber to make it appear everyone wants dual spec, but have to keep making a new thread because we keep pointing out why dual spec would be bad for tbcc.
Of course they try to just outright ignore or insult the opposition away without ever trying to counter our points.
