It’s supposed to remove forum access for posting, but classic forums have been inconsistent with this as I was able to occasionally post on the classic forums with an inactive subscription from letting the subscription laps for a few days when I knew I would be unable to play for a week or so due to RL. So I waited a week to pay for the reactivation of the account. And I kept looking at the forums during that week when I had a minute, sometimes I was able to post, sometimes I wasn’t. Theb again there’s so many bugs in blizzards system now…

I actually played with someone who hasn’t paid their subscription in over 4 years and their account is still active, and no it wasn’t a wow tokens thing either. Blizzard is just dropping the ball all over and I don’t trust them to not make the game worse every time they touch it. Just look at what they did with rogues with this patch.

The cloaks of shadows resists was listed as not a bug for it being 80% resistance added, then they stealth changed it this patch to be 100% resist and stops wand damage as well now. With no patch notes on it.

Blizzard is inconsistantant with their decisions and doesn’t communicate what they do change properly in patch notes… the very thing used to document and communicate changes…

So your method of trying to force dual spec into the game is get a pro dual spec person into that position?

It’s either that or…he’s making an argument that since they are hiring a systems designer, it means they’re planning to design TBC dual spec for implementation.

Lol.

The next few months are going to be really interesting.

They’re probably frantically trying to replace some of the people they just fired …

ojala y lo pongan

You mean the people who stepped down or resigned? As far as I know, they’ve already been replaced. As for hiring and firing, that happens everywhere at every business every day. People are hired and fired regularly. It’s not like the lawsuit has changed that fact.

“Durr, they have a lawsuit. Must be they’re firing a bunch of people, hyuk, hyuk! I hate Blizzard, durr!”

I one million percent agree I would want to respect too yeah.

I don’t agree with a single one of the arguments not 1.

Is could it potentially do harm It’s very minimal like honestly the very worst thing that could happen and this is the worst mind you.

Some of the hardcore gilds could say to some players OK we need you to be these specific specs for these Pacific bosses.

Is which quite frankly out of the entire game I’m thinking Is 5 maybe 7.

But quite frankly if that’s the absolute worst that’s going to happen please it’s me to happen please give us dual speck.

And as far as the economy argument goes yes because of fiftyes because a 50 gold race back is clearly the thing that’s going to keep the economy in check really.

Maybe for a 2007 player base sure 2021 no we just play the game very differently now and that’s just the truth.

But maybe I want other talents for the dungeon spec. And need other talents for the PvP spec and maybe my PvP spec is not really good in dungeons or raids.

That’s the reason why people want dual spec. They don’t want to farm several dungeons or grind stuff before they are able to do the things they want.

Again: Stuff like that held them back from doing the stuff they want. If I need to do 5 dungeons before I am able to get to my PvP spec, do 1h arena and go back to raid spec as I am raiding in the evening, I probably won’t do it. Why? Because I need the 1h already to get the gold for doing PvP and get to raid spec again.

So instead I am watching a series on netflix or w/e instead of enjoying some arena with friends. That’s the issue behind it and the reason why people want dual spec.

You don’t want it or don’t need it? That’s fine, but we do! And “we” is the majority here!

Probably very dual spec-less, to be sure.

raid spec will be just fine for running heroics

entirely depends on class. most dps class can pvp and do dungeons in the sane spec

Then this creates a lack of players doing content problem. Players arent going to do dungs and heroics if they no longer need the gold to spec switch, thus reducing the number of people doing this content further, making finding tanks and healers even harder.
Adding dual spec doesnt magically solve the lack of tank or healer problems found in LFG, it exasperates it further but allowing the few people who do tank and heal to not need to participate in that daily content anymore, or dungeon farming for money anymore because they simply dont need to. Tanks will have their raid spec and their pvp spec and theyll likely pvp in their free time and switch specs and raid. Healers would do the same.

Do you only have time to do dailies the same day you raid? Do you raid 7 days a week? seems like a weak argument

You say this like its a bad thing “oh no im spending time off the game instead of playing it 24/7”

I can promise you its not

Several polls haven proven that the majority want dual spec, so your promise has no value at all!

The rest isn’t even worth it to comment as you just write over and over again the same crap. Depending on the spec? Maybe, but that isn’t an answer to the general problem.

When you go to a shop and ask the shop assistant how much a liter of milk costs, the answer “15 dollar the kilo beef” is no answer to the question…

Do I need to go over how easily those online polls are manipulated again?

Show me the polls, I don’t believe your word on it.

They are linked within this thread. You can look for them yourself, somethere in the first third. A post from a paladin.

Post 118 / 1934 to be exact.

Because online polls are such a good way to get public opinions, lol.

Again easily distorted and abused.

If I wanted I could make a poll bot that would vote 5 times against dual spec for every time the poll got a vote for dual spec using VPN and and a bot.

Who is to say those polls didn’t have a similar bot voting for dual spec?

Your poll data is not reliable.

You can back this up with a source?

1st off for the record I would say the community is 5050 split on dual spec is the split on doors back if I’m being completely honest.

Is 2nd of all no seeing I would make an argument that most classes have a separate PVPVP and PVE speck.

How many fury Warriors do you know that pvp Even remotely no I’m not even talking about in arena just battleground Why because they know they stand no chance.

Is you’ll get a retribution palatin PVP spec and a pvp It’s not entirely different you still do get crusader strike obviously but there is differences there are talents that are completely worthless in PVP that you would get in pve.

And even healers If you have a disk priest and PVE it’s going to be differently spect than one in PVP.

And even with warlock sls Is is borderline worthless in PVE but it’s amazing in PVP.

Is evacting only class I can honestly think of off the top of my head that wouldn’t have a separate speck would be a hunter ironically enough.

And even in that I’m sure there are points moved around my point is you can’t PVP with a pve Speck.

You’re just well gotta get crushed no matter what you’re doing in that area Like it or not it’s too important.
