I see that as a good thing because it forces players to play to communicate and work together to accomplish goals.
You specalize in (Healing) I will do (Damage) and we will go accomplish greater things together. Remember this is an MMO, and not skyrim.

Well i have have seen plenty. I sure as hell would not like dual spec. The reality is right now as a tank or healer you more valuable then were at any other point in wow (including classic, because in classic dps warriors tanked every 5 man without an issue).
Dual spec would lessen this. Would flexibility counter that for you personally? That is up to you decide. But arguing that dual spec does not hurt tanks and healers right now is just not very bright.
If I specialize in healing itās totally unfun to quest, farm, or pvp. If you and I specialize in dps we can have fun playing the whole game. So Iām not going to heal on my druid, Iām speccing feral. I didnāt heal on my druid until dual spec was released in Wrath. There are many people who feel the same way. We will not go on to accomplish greater things together and youāll have trouble finding healers and tanks to do dungeons
So we should quest together. We should carve out time to help eachother.
link please.
By far the push for dual spec is driven by tanks and healers who want it so they can quest and farm effectively in a dps spec. A smaller percent is those who want a raid spec and a pvp spec
It might not be an option for people who did not āretire at early 20sā. Just pointing out.
Hmm, alright, set respec cost too a flat 25 gold. A lot of people couldnāt be bothered to no life classic, and have thousands of gold saved up from GDKPs, if I had the 600 gold from respec since the 1st, Iād be that much closer too my epic flying. Instead, I PAY too respec as a great healer too make the 30-1 ratio of dps enjoy their experience. How about shifting the conversation too a saved talent tree quick pick, and lower respec costs. And yes, I did boost a priest, as I have 10 years experience playing one, and truly felt vanilla was a terrible game, but absolutely loved Wrath. TBC has been a great experience, and Iāve already made a good name for myself among those running heroics. Itās not a need itās a āThis was already fixedā at the games peak expansion.
Find a warrior, rogueā¦faceroll the universe. Tons of fun, split loot, plus faster xp.
Dps doesnāt need help questing or farming making it difficult to find someone to help tanks and healers. Why should tanks and healers be forced to try to find a dps to help them do content that dps easily does solo? My choice is to not heal with my druid until there is dual spec. And we all find it harder to find groups
We should make a tank, healer only guild and call it UberPrepared. Then all the dps trolling can pay the gold from questing and farming with ease for the rest of their content.
You just donāt get it. Your theory is flawed. The cost of speccing resto for healing dungeons is too high. Iām not healing with my druid so we wonāt be doing any of those greater things together
Why are you afraid to meet new people and interract with other people in an MMO? Sure most people in wow are toxic a-holes, but some of them are not.
Try to get out of your comfort zone and interract with new people, who knows, you may even make a new friend along the way. Maybe there is a healer out their right now in your general chat that would love your help questing.

I interact with new people in the game all the time. Parts of this game is designed to be played solo and parts are designed to be played in groups. If you think itās easy to find someone to group with for the solo part of the game when dps can do it easily and has zero need to group for it youāre a moron. What many tanks and healers are asking for is what dps already has, the ability to have fun playing the whole game. Thatās why we want dual spec
I donāt think anything in the game is designed to be played solo, I think it is designed to be a co-operative enviroment. I leveled 60-70 as a tank and had no problems questing in the open world what-so-ever. Back in real tbc I quested 60-70 as a holy paladin, not the aoe farming kind and had no problem what-so-ever.
If you donāt enjoy a particular element of the game then donāt participate in it, that is the decision you make. You already have the same capacity as DPS players, what you donāt have is a good mentality or a healthy co-operative mindset.
I actually really really get it. Level Resto (going deep in resto is a waste for dungeons) Tailoring profession. Shatar rep. Swap sets.
Or just go balance in 60-69. Youāll be fine to heal dungeons and no respec!
But if dead set on Feral (which is DPS/Tank spec in one) + Restoā¦yeahā¦stand in line, get both gear sets and grind your rep. That literally is TBC.
Itās the only downside of druidā¦but you end up have a Rift character with three soles compared to every class in the game. Wrath will get here soon enough. Blizzard wonāt change it before then. Not sure what Iām missing, but I wouldnāt be surprised because Iām only so smart. Good luck!
I spent a lot of time debating on the multiboxer threads. I thought there is no way blizzard would ever change it. But still when multiboxers told me that itās been in the game since vanilla and was never going to change it didnāt stop me or any of the other people who agreed with me. Then to everyoneās surprise blizzard banned input broadcasting software and then banned the hardware as well. This was the exact change most of us were asking for. How ever long the shot is Iāll keep pushing for dual spec
Rock n roll! Good luck and Iāll be happy to eat my words for you lol
Then youāre blind to reality. Blizzard even tells you when a quest is designed for more than one player and suggests the number needed. When the vast majority of players mostly quest and farm solo the game is clearly designed to be played that way
My feeling on the matter has evolved. As a Skerum player (99:1 [H]), I have to often switch from healing to tank. Special consideration for certain servers would be cool, but I can see that not going over well with the community.
Oh no, I completely understand and am not blind to reality.
You see there is this game that exists, itās called shadowlands. It has all the bells and whistles you are asking for. You can solo quest in the open world through hundreds of hours of solo-player content and then without friction you can swap to tank/heals for dungeons with your friends.
You should check it out, that game will be much more to your liking.
