Hello I was wondering how everyone felt about Blizzard implementing the Dual Spec in TBC? I honestly think it would be great for everyone. Tanks and healers wouldnt be as scarce in lfg making leveling and finding groups easier. Arena and BGs would see a massive spike in players. I may be biased on this one because although I originally played during BC I really fell in love with the game during WotLK simply because of the little QoL changes like dungeon finder and dual spec. Blizzard is even releasing the guild banking system before the zul aman patch in which it originally came out in old BC so I could definitely see them adding other content before the initial release time. Would you be for them adding some QoL changes like dual spec early on?
We don’t need dual spec in TBC. Just chill and wait for wrath you’ll get it.
Lets make this crystal clear it will not be great for EVERYONE. This is simple fact.
dont expect anyone to take you seriously once you said LFG finder was a good thing, opinion discarded, and i like and want dual spec in the game!
T. talented healer who gets asked to run dungeons by the best players on server regularly, who would be negatively impacted by LFG finder directly.

Instead of dual spec why not just reduced respec costs? Respec costs were reduced on the biggest classic private servers and literally everyone loved it. It was never once a point of contention.
Just reduce respec costs.

are you seriously saying that the lfg and bg finders were bad for lvling? questing can get boring really quick if the questline is tedious and repetitive. also you are very opinionated of yourself aint ya. go stroke that ego somewhere else bud.
More like 80/20% out which majority are dedicated tanks and healers who get screwed by dual spec. Sounds like a plan to fix tank/healer issue lol.
Add it theres no reason not to.

Some people want it to come with really silly restrictions on its use.

Why is it that pure dps want duel spec? How about duel spec only for classes with healing or tanking specs
Well, you see as a pure dps, there are specs for raiding and there are specs for solo play. Not sure why you think that pure dps specs wouldn’t want this. I would take this in a heartbeat on my warlock. Felguard spec for solo play, destruction spec for raiding.
They sweaty about it, so prolly won’t get it until wraith sadly.
Agreed it is 80/20 in favor of dual spec, but I would say a lot of that 80% is the entire Arena community who doesn’t want to be screwed over in TBCC like they were in the original just because blizzard took a year to figure out a fix.
Don’t need it and don’t want it, I do more than enough damage in my healing gear and spec for solo farming, don’t like how dual spec reduces the identity of your character at no cost.
You don’t have to spend 1000g to buy it. Don’t need to punish the Arena Community who needs to Raid to get PvP BiS though.
Obviously in favor, if majority of 80% were tank and healers lol…
I do not know the details of what fix and year you talking about. I personally did decent amount of arena, and i respected from feral to resto once a week. Really wasn’t bad.
The point is despite what is being pushed here dual spec has plenty of downsides to plenty of people that just a simple fact.
I am happy you enjoyed your time. For those of us who progression Raid and push Arena rating we also have the option to respec twice a week and not log into the game to play Arena in between Raid days for the week.
However,
It’s Bad Design when your RPG Decision making is “Play today and be punished” or “Stay logged off until after Raid days” which is why it was fixed.
Damn what a game different game this would be if it’s majority was tanks or healers.
