Cata raids are too difficult for the majority of players in classic to do for fun. Its why people quit in OG cata.
People who did LFR in OG cata did it to see the raid, not for loot. Almost no one was full clearing cata raids at the time and it was a way for the playerbase to at least see the raids. Only the top 1% of players then did it for loot only

The purpose of running MC to get specific items for transmogs or for the Legendary’s. They are chasing items.

You didn’t specify Cata raids, but even if you did you are wrong. Not everyone buys tokens to get into a pure buyer spot buy all the items and still grey parse. They do it because raiding is fun

There is 3 catch up mechcanics coming in Phase 3.
- HoT dungeons
- H+ dungeons 2.0
- LFR gear being added in unannounced manor(s)/ “avenues”
So gearing is going to be easy. Its most likely going to be easier with LFR gear most likely being bought via Inferno 2.0 Dungeons or tied in somehow then running LFR and dealing with RNG.

Yes, more content with easier gearing opportunities for casual players is beneficial, but some people do not seem to understand this. They just want to focus on the fact that LFR is not being added.

Lfr was added for people TO EXPERIENCE THE RAID without needing for it to be scheduled.
It has NOTHING TO DO WITH GEAR.

Alright and there is normal mode for that. LFR not being in the game has not stopped players from seeing the raid for the last almost 5.5 years.

These are still in the game. Normal mode is still easily accessible, especially when you can obtain heroic raid gear from the previous tier.
