Blizzard followed a similar approach with the initial inferno dungeons in T11, announcing them after the phase launch. Anticipate that Blizzard will reveal the inferno 2.0 dungeons within the next week. This strategy is employed to generate curiosity and excitement.
LFR is not coming with the DS launch. I would also be very surprised if it is released in Cata since the loot is most likely going to drop from the Inferno dungeons or be available from a vendor, making LFR obsolete. If Blizzard does decide to release LFR, the majority of players will not run it because they can get the gear in an easier and less RNG-dependent way.
lol ur saying the same vroken reccord thing as the other guy was they need to stick withtheir word and stop goiing back on it cuz they f---- up and are too lazy to fix it people will run it for EZ tier theres n chance they put tier on a vender for a new raid
They are keeping their word. The developers stated, “They had no plans to release LFR in Cata,” then they went back on their word and tried to release it but were unable to. So now they are back to keeping their original word.
agian they are too lazy and as someone else said f 10 man mode keep it to the 25 man thats why they cant get it right cuz they are trying to make it so the too lazy to do 25 crowd can still do it
Coming from the person who wants LFR? I’m Going to be in heroic DS week 1 not crying about no LFR.
I agree with leaving LFR as a 25man raid vs 10man because both require 2 tanks to que. Most of the time the tank que is what holds most RDF runs back.
Tier is not a guaranteed drop in LFR. RNG is real. The new way that Blizzard is most likely going to add LFR gear will involve less RNG, meaning LFR gear will be more readily available. This will allow casual players to obtain gear faster than the maybe 1 piece per week (players might not get any loot for the first 3 weeks in LFR), Making normal mode even more accessible to them than it already is. You do not want to consider the positive aspects of this; you would rather focus on the negative because you want to find something to complain about.
already have mostly firelands got bored after like 8+ weeks of normal i got full 378s and said ok sod looks good now and i told my guild hey im dropping the team for sod and they said ok and are now 4/7H so im not missing much
LFR is pointless with the gear being obtainable in other ways. At least in mop it has some sort of utility and is used for people to do the legendary quest line. But for cata having it for 6 months only for most people to run it for the first few weeks to help get tier set bonuses is pointless.
LFR gear most likely being obtained from H+ dungeons is actually better for the casuals since there is way less RNG envolved.
Wanna gear an alt this is going to be alot faster.
My group just got 6/7 (heroic) last week, seems like we’re taking a break possibly this week cause of irl stuff, but imo, some of the bosses are more fun on heroic than they are on normal.
It will be. Some of us were going on about quest need for raid items lfr granted.
See I am very open minded here.
Lets get legion classic. I can try for optimistic sometimes. No lfr, even.
Okay, i’d happily take the raid currency to make blue dragon flight happy as then mythic dungeon payout. It be better than EN runs, no sarcasm and completely honest there lol.
The normal raid runners would like it too. that quest…sucks. It pads run time to take 2-3 weeks to complete.
But lets go mop. MoP cloak for mythic knockoff dungeon? Sure…we can accept that.
The primary reason for participating in raids is to obtain gear. If players engaged in raids purely for enjoyment, there would be ongoing BWD, Bot, or TotTW runs. However, gear is more easily acquired by repeatedly running inferno dungeons.
With LFR gear likely sharing the same path and no significant need to do LFR (unlike in MoP for the legendary), Less players are going to participate in it.
