Drums are not the problem. You are

Having lw may get you that coveted raid spot over and equally geared/skilled player who doesn’t.

I was in an AQ GDKP last night. Any DPS found to not have full world buffs was kicked/benched for someone else who did.

We steam rolled it, because thats what happens when fully geared raiders hit old content with world buffs, but yeah.

There is an expectation, and that expectation will translate to Drums in TBC.

While I mostly agree with this, the fact Blizzard explicitly stated they were “fixing” this is kinda silly either way. If this was the best they had they shoulda just not gotten everyones hopes up over a fix and this woulda been avoided.

Oh c’mon now. Blizzard will never directly make things harder or rather much more time consuming as the at patch versions were. The current player base would revolt. If they do, there will always be some other caveat to their statement. I’m not the least surprised.

Just like when they say they may release bosses pre-nerf, they’ll probably use the latest patch with the most player power, so the change may be negligible.

I won’t be going LW even if it was mandatory.
If my guild didn’t like it Id find a guild that didn’t care about it.

We already have a blue post on drums. Greater drums dont come out until ZA. The lesser drums have a crappy 8yrd radius so people are gonna have to stack now. All they did was make it more annoying and the mats are gonna cost more. Still gonna be meta

Stacking within 8 yards just isn’t going to be possible for most fights, you’d lose too much dps moving for 5% haste to be worth it. So LW is not an attractive option until the greater drums become available. When that recipe becomes available, leatherworking goes from being weaker than tailoring/BS to stronger.

Sorry but you’re wrong. It’s gonna be meta. You can say no as much as u want. The only way to change this is if it gives us a sated. The blue blizz post already stated “Fond memories of rotating drums” so that’s not gonna happen. It’s gonna be drums or gtfo still

I think the big issue honestly is - when you take top notch players that want to play in high quality guilds (meaning top players and smooth runs etc;) almost all of them end up falling into min/maxing.

So sometimes it feels like if I don’t do it, I can’t be in that guild and then I’m with players that really don’t play anywhere close to the level I want to be at.

That’s the conundrum.

WClogs just needs to toss out logs with drums or x uses of drums.

Community solution - I like it.

It would work too. They tossed out logs that use the silithus buff and its worked

Truth be told, I don’t even know what the silithus buff is. So it must have worked.

5% damage for 30m. Its really strong and nobody bothers with it

Yeah that’s pretty sick. So WCLogs blocked it out from the logs? That’s pretty great.

On lady vashj, if you can figure out how to converge on your party once every thirty seconds without losing any dps then you’re a better player than I.

One boss isn’t going to break a meta…

they’re all like that, go play endless if you don’t believe me

I don’t have to I played in tbc, and raided.
