When outside of ohn’ahran it offers a dragon riders purse and when you zone in, it turns into only 10 dreamsurge. Just did it on an alt and got a purse, now it changed to dreamsurge suddenly.
Inconvenient because there’s two in ohn’ahran plains so i am not able to get 1100 gold
Ya this has to be a bug. Even wowheads WQ tracker shows it rewarding a bag with the coalescence
Yeah, just came to the forums to point this out. 10 dream surgers or whatever they’re called aren’t worth the time it takes to complete the race and it’s gonna screw up my income.
I got nothing at all on the two races I just did in the plains. No gold, no XP, nothing! What a waste of time.
Yeah likewise, i didnt get jack, did it on 2 chars… the racing quests does show that it does reward you with the purse, but yeah after completing, nada, thank you very much, you just got lied to… appreciate it blizz… always a good job every maintenance!
Atleast, they always acknowledge (quickly)… that there are these bugs,even after people report the same ones multiple times over and over and over again, they are so quick to reply and state that yes we know of the “these bugs and so forth and blah and blah” we are working hard and as quickly as possible to fix these problems… thank you for your patience and understanding… lol
I wondered why I came up short yesterday. I thought I had already deposited the gold into my guild bank and just forgot.
Kind of a bummer that these kind of bugs make it though. You think it would of been squashed in ptr.
Guess I’ll stick to leveling characters until it get sorted.

Pretty sure I got purses when the Dream was in Waking Shore. That’s why I was so surprised to get nothing from the races this week.
yes I definitely know that you got the purses from the waking shore riding wqs, thats why its so mind bogling how they stuffed up the ohn’ahran plains one… oh maybe its because theres currently 2 events happening there… the fyrakk assault and then the dreamsurge… maybe its a little too difficult to maintain…
Ok damn, was just scrolling through the “Bug Report” forum trying to get to the end but damn its so long even the Riddler would run out of riddles before even getting closed to the end -sigh
yeah this really sucks as crafting materials are basically vendor trash thanks to botters i rely on this gold and i would also like to know why they put 1 dragonriding wq from another zone and placed it in the dreamsurge zone and then the next week this one they both all of a sudden have their gold removed. You gotta wonder…
Logged on another alt just now, and checked the dragon racing wqs here in ohn’ahran plains, they both now only show 10 Dreamsurge Coalescence as the reward. Guess it was too hard to fix, or maybe 500g is just too much gold.
hopefully this gets fixed, for now just gonna skip the dreamsurge zones
This also unnecessarily inhibits collecting a bit for those who don’t have all the manuscripts from the 10.0 racing purses yet. Really shouldn’t be a difficult fix.
Oh - this happened to me this morning - I was confused why I didn’t get bags from those racing events - but this explains it.
I’m pretty sure that’s how it worked last week, but something probably broke this week, because everything breaks in this game eventually.
Something got changed from last week, if you are in the dreamsurge zone then the 10.0 world boss reward will change to 25 Coalescence even thought that boss isn’t even in the plains. hope for a quick fix
