50 characters Nice. 
I was working to 60 myself. figured out how to get some extra level 60 characters with Dracthyr by leveling hunters to 60 on connected realms. Now with the change I’ve lost a bit of my drive to level taking break/slowing down.
Hopping blizzard fixes this that we get both the gold and dreamsurge coalescences during a dreamsurge event area.
Just popping back in to report on mid week reset.
The races in Waking shore and 1 of the 2 in the Plains, under the dreamsurge, are showing as normal.
Wild Preserve Slalom (WS) - Bag
Emerald Gardens Ascent (OP) - Bag
Fen Flythrough (OP) - 10 Dreamsurge Coalescence
Frostland Flyover (AS) - 10 Dreamsurge Coalescence

[edit] After doing the race that shows a bag while under the dreamsurge i got a bag and 10 dust.

the reason gold is inflating right now
How many people do you think sits all day and does that on 50 character? And i dont believe him, how many do you think even does it on more then a few characters. And honestly i think many dont do them at all let alone more then on their 1 character.
I could if i wanted do it on 50 chars aswell but hell no but i do like them being there for when the game becomes dead as it is my main activity pretty much farming gold and stuff rather then unsubbing but continue to remove our gold be so sure i will unsub in those times

While under the dreamsurge the following dragons races get changed to dust

Archive Ambit
Vakthros Ascent
And again the 10.0 world boss reward gets converted to dust aswell

I did the dragon races yesterday on an alt and got the event reward rather than the bags. Hopefully they’ll fix this sooner rather than later, or at least anwer if its a bug or not.

every time dailies reset, there are two dragon races in the dreamsurge zone. hope this isn’t their way of killing inflation instead of getting rid of farming bots.
bots have killed any gathering profession so i REALLY hope they fix this and don’t refrain actual players from getting gold.

I don’t see how this can be anything other than a bug.
There is a buff you can get while in the dreamsurge that gets voted in quite often that gives 3x the value of gold reward world quests. It’s not odd to get >2k gold from 1 wq while the buff in active.
That, coupled with the fact that only some of the races lose their bag rewards, leads me to believe this is a bug introduced when making every quest in the dreamsurge reward dust.

Fix this pls because we sure as hell are not gonna make any gold with all bots you let running wild. If you wanna suck out gold from the game then tax the disgusting goblins and AH players that sits on 90 % of all available gold
The thing is I have over 40 alts and I tried doing every single dragon riding wq and it takes a lot of time. Im pretty sure someone investing that time in professions or other content would make a whole lot more gold than someone running world quests… anyways.
Some of use use these worldquests to get some gold and it is very vey annoying you get the even currency. You know what also happens… dreamsurge replaces gear pieces too specially the pvp ones… so its a detriment to alt gameplay

ive noticed that whether one of the dragon racing WQs will reward a purse or not, in the dreamsurge zone, alternates with each reset. on some resets, neither will reward a purse, on other resets there will be one that rewards a purse.
there’s some sort of pattern to it, but i havent been keeping track of them all since the start of the patch

i played and done wq farming since patch and in waking shore 2 purses both rotation, plains 0 first rotaion and 1 second. Azure 2 purses first rotation 0 second. And its only ever the dragonriding wq that has its reward replace with a silly 10 currency, wich is partly why i get upset because it looks sneaky and it also is starting to become clear why they moved a dragonriding wq to a dreamsurge zone and no mentions of it in patch notes, nothing. I really miss those days way back when they use to document every single change in the patch notes
And before someone starts to say well maybe some people like the currency instead (wich i doubt since its the same amount as 1/3 of a rare) why only the dragonriding wq? why not the kill 15 mobs kind of wqs that i mentioned earlier
This week is special, no dragon riding WQs spawned in Thaldraszus.
When this was happening the last 3 weeks I had assumed they moved the thald race to the dream zone, but now we have none in the dream zone and 1 in each of the others.
While under the dreamsurge the following races are showing dust:

Once again the Waking shores race is unaffected by the dream. Guess we should be happy, at least this week we will get 6 bags instead of 4/5 like the last 2.
[edit] Interestingly the 10.0 world boss’s reward is not changing to dust this week while under the dream.

Ravine River Run
also, the pvp world quest Wild Arcana changes from 1200gold to 10 dust, those 2 things are not equal
