Dragonriding, so fun I want to smash my keyboard

There should be an option.

You don’t have to do it all in one shot. There’s nothing wrong with perching somewhere, letting your vigor recharge, and doing it again.

There’s nothing to do this week other than M0’s I think. And I’m sorry, but the world content this time around is top notch in my opinion. I am having an unbelievably good time. Give it a little bit.

Good luck to you and your journeys as you are a valued member of the WoW community.

While I agree Dragonriding is nice, I find they would have trouble implementing it universally. Much of the game wasn’t built with Dragonriding in mind, which can make getting to certain places or doing certain things challenges. The biggest issue is that Dragonriding can’t hover in place, you have to land. There is also the turn radius which can make reaching things that require accuracy challenging.

Idk its really not hard if you just angle downwards gain vigor then use that speed and dash upwards over and over. Pretty easy really, it was one of the first few that i got.

Awww is the video game too difficult?

Always use vigor on ascent. Always. You gain height and velocity vs only velocity, the only time to use the straight dash is in the races when gaining altitude will make you miss speed boost clouds, vigor recharge clouds, or rings.

We haven’t had flying at release since Blizzard spat their dummy over too many players wanting flying, when they wanted to remove it to make their game designing easier.

They in turn, have been making flying difficult for players ever since. They’re the ones who need to grow up.

Or both. Because more than one thing can exist at once. People need to grow up about dragon riding because the alternative is the same as before. And Blizzard needs to, always, grow up. That is well established for multi reasons. Don’t put yourself in a corner with the thinking that only one thing needs to happen.

Forget the idea of trying to stretch your resources to get straight up there. If you get what I’m about to tell you, you can fly infinitely high and far from the start.

First, jump from a place where you have room to angle down and get some speed. It doesn’t have to be a dive. Once you’re at high speed, your vigor will start recharging.

Once this happens, point straight up and immediately hit Skyward Ascent (2 by default). This is going to give you even more speed and lots of height. Get your angle back to slightly down to maintain that speed and vigour regeneration.

Rinse and repeat. Once I got this, I flew around and grabbed the remaining 10 glyphs I hadn’t picked up and I did it in a single flight.

It all boils down to:

  1. speed = vigour regeneration
  2. point up when you hit Skyward Ascent

I’m not in a corner, I can leave anytime I want, as many millions have in the past due to Blizzard’s attitude that we should be grateful for anything they produce.

I’ll be counting the days, unless I want to go fast in a straightish line dragon riding is meh… so far.

Oh I completely agree with Blizzards attitude - but I also acknowledge the attitude of the player base. Which again - more than one thing can exist at once.

No matter what blizzard puts out people will cry. Dragonriding really does not require that much skill, I’m not sure what to say if you can’t figure it out. Once you get the hang of how to maneuver it becomes very fluid but you can’t just press your buttons and afk.

I don’t want normal flying back at all, I’d rather have Dragonriding applied to all flying mounts. Normal flying is terrible in comparison to this

This is a bit toxic, but not wrong.

Once you know what you’re doing, dragonriding is far superior to regular flying in pretty much every situation.

Maybe give it a fair shot before you complain, it’s only been a couple of days after the expansion has come out.

That would probably be the glyph I just got. All you have to do is fly around the mountain to find the ledges. Land, recharge and up you go again. I think it took me three recharges. It is not difficult.

Well you’re doing it wrong then. I got to the top of that mountain without stopping once…

You can use the button to go up, slightly tilt direction downwards so you keep speed to build vigor. Then press upwards when you can and repeat that process while circling around the mountain.

You can litterally go anywhere you want without having to afk for vigor. Just not straight to the destination.

I got em all pretty easily… you’ll get it eventually bud, the new flying system is great.

You haven’t played Spyro the dragon o.O
Or guild wars 2 with their gliders or mounts o.0
It’s very easy once you get the hang of gliding like a dragon
That mountain near the start is tricky :relaxed:
Up half way stop build up vigor go again
If you have patience that is . O.o
Try watching TikTok skits in-between building vigor on that mountain
Good :crossed_fingers: luck :+1:

The recharge rate needs to be increased. If I can go from 1% to full HP in 20 seconds, why cant we completely regen vigor in say 1 min max?
