I played WoW on a laptop for a long, long time, though after I got my second or third laptop I got a mouse for it. I had a bit of an adjustment period, but in my opinion, the game plays so much better with a mouse and keyboard.
I had a laptop for a while myself but have always hated trackpads. I’ve been a Logitech trackball guy for about … thirty years? Yeah, about thirty years.
And then they’ll complain about not being able to fly as fast for no effort.

Glad you could adjust my man, i could not. Legit tried multiple times. Even bought a desktop to try and force it. 
Ill just always bee a little worse than everyone else. Thats fine xD. I dont need to be top tier.

No. I want their original version of dragon riding that they had. They kept nerfing it back to back to back and made it into what it is now, all because they were concerned people would use it to get to nodes too quickly. They also removed the hover we used to have for that reason. They really made it lame. In my beta version I was playing it was much better.
They could just make it to where you cannot farm nodes for a certain amount of time after you get off your mount. So that would make it better.
That may take the cake for “worst idea I’ve seen on GD today”.

I like Dragonriding, but I admit is uncomfortable when you see a chest up in the map, fly but woa, the dragon flew at high speed way past the chest, now I should go down, but wait, can go down at fast speed too. Especially in this cave. 
Eh, I saw more just wanting flying right off the bat how was prior to DF. Basically Cata’s flying which was buy it first thing, and start flying.
Also I will say I have just gotten back, and recently hit 70, so haven’t gotten many of the coins to upgrade the dragon. It seems to me that people have already forgotten what the basic/new dragon could do. It isn’t really flying, more guided falling. Which isn’t bad but I’d say it is a bit disingenuous to call the basic dragon flying.
That being said, I do enjoy it as I’ve been someone who has said they need to do more with flying than just making it go faster. This isn’t exactly what I had in mind but it works. I really hope they make all of the mounts able to do dragonriding at some point. I’m no where near the most mounts owned but it doesn’t feel great that all of those mounts collected as it is right now are not usable outside of being a ground mount.
No. Their idea was worse. They only nerfed dragonriding to stop people from farming nodes too quickly. Just make it so that there is a timer on them if you dragon ride, that way it doesnt have to get nerfed and also they could just put it in so that it equals what it would have spawned at had it not been nerfed.

If you ever have to land to regen your vigor, you messed up. That’s a skill issue.
There’s plenty of expression with unlocking the many customizations. Besides, more mounts are being brought over to dragonriding soon.
As a mount collector myself, with over 500 and many rares, this argument about collection is absolutely invalid.
Dragonriding isn’t going away. They’re going to open it up to the rest of the world and add more mounts to the system, but, whiners , lazy gamers like you are gonna get your way too. Soon they’ll add the option for old world flying on the Dragon Isles. Keep this in mind though, if someone is holding up a pug group because they want to use the old flying, you’re gonna see people start to get kicked for taking up valuable time.
OP here. We got all the glyphs today. Getting them was kinda fun. Dragonriding is much improved. It’s fantastic if we want to go from A to B super fast.
But we’re old. Literally. We like to play slow. The Dragon Isles are very pretty and we want to look at stuff.
Our favorite thing right now is visiting Org. Everyone has a different mount! It’s thrilling to see rare mounts. And we enjoy seeing how people match their mog/mounts together. It’s our favorite part of the game.
If someone has a heavenly onxy cloud serpent - you’ll never see it in Veldraken. So sad!
We just want our mounts back. We don’t want to have the same mounts as everyone else. We want to go slow. We want to look at things.
We just don’t like Dragonriding conceptually. We don’t mind that we’re a minority in this
Some people prefer ground mounts and they have that option available to them. We just want the option to have regular flying back

Dragonriding is gameplay.
Old flying is like “camera mode”.

I agree with you, base dragonriding is one of the dumbest mechanics I’ve come across in my 13 years of WoW, no one should be forced to get all the glyphs just to make it bearable.

I’m with you all the way, find dragonriding to be a laborious chore. Have all the things unlocked, da da da, but these things are incredibly unwieldly and ungraceful. Useless for mining runs. Useless for pretty much everything except for going in a straight line. Detest this dragonriding immensely!
