You can mute the tab in the web browser and doesn’t affect the stream…what I do and have it playing in the background.

Right? Literally just have to have twitch open on a tab. And just to be careful, don’t mute, just play it at the lowest volume.

How did you mute it…did you mute the stream within twitch on the video then yep you messed up but if you use a browser to use twitch if you click on the tab in the browser there is a mute the tab feature that doesn’t effect the stream at all…done it every time and got my drops.

You had too to screw it up …muting the tab in the browser doesn’t effect the video at all…have to be careful next time and do it right way.

It’s just more bandwidth wasting overhead. And the actual item and how it was originally acquired doesn’t matter to me. They’re giving away stuff I paid real money for via the Trading Post but it doesn’t bother me. They could even have the toy be a Trading Post item in the future, which would be fine. I’m just not keen on giving someone else a boost on their viewership just to meet a meta to fluff up the quarterlies for the advertising dept.
