Funnily enough this is how I sometimes feel about TV commercials, whenever I actually end up watching something on TV that actually has commercials, anyway. You more often than not see the men be silly / idiotic caricatures, while the women are all “Oh you”, and I’m like, hey, women can be funny idiots, too, ya know!

My post says why, but here’s a summary: 2 wrongs don’t make a right. Don’t say one extreme is acceptable because the other extreme has happened, because that will only end up leading right back to the original extreme again. Find a nice middle ground, aka actual equality, where both men and women are appropriately represented.
