Most of ATVI’s shareholders don’t even know what World of Warcraft is. They’re gigantic investment institutions.
The market dictates the price and the market is dictated by buyers and sellers. If people will pay a price for a thing, the seller sells it for that price.
Heroic is easy 249. Open world gearing is so much lower (wq 210). Even normal dungeon gear is a lot higher than open world stuff.
Going to zm and buying anima gear is higher at 226.
But I guess if you have zero intentions on running mythics or raiding… you wouldn’t run heroics. Me on the other hand, heroics are such an easy ilvl boost.
ZM is 252.
Every current full content patch has better gear in the open world than heroics.
(I’m excluding the experiment s4 rewards, those might actually be higher, im not sure)
Share holders don’t make those decisions, they invest money with the hope that decisions are made to increase the value of the stock. If they feel like their investment is not being taken care of, they sell. It’s not like 20,000 people get a email that asks what should the next expansion cost.
Thought I said it in this post… It was another lol.
It’s 252 IF, big if because that route is one of the most tedious grinds you can do currently… IF you are 6/6 with cyphers.
I’ve done that grind on at least 8 characters. I am so happy they finally bumped up heroic loot to 249 so I can completely ignore cyphers on alts.
But anyway lol. Heroics are the fast way and you get better gear, even if the ilvl is 3 lower. Like plaguefall/dos trinkets, still some of the strongest.
I doubt most are willing to spend the amount of time to get 6/6 vs just spamming heroics.
very much so - I had a hard time with getting the glyphs for dragonflying
Is this because of the player or Blizzard… I made a Tauren Rogue and am leveling it through Outland. I cannot queue for Heroic dungeons at all. It says I have to be a higher level. (not ilvl).
In most expacs we’re not getting the extra bump s4 gave. Huge difference when you compare it to a normal season.
I disagree. To me, Dragonflight feels credibly bare for $50.
It’s literally not even that hard.
You’re just flying on a paper airplane with bottle rockets attached to it.
True, but most xpacs have better welfare gear to get you started or for catch up. This one, 226 was the max and season cap was 300’s. Not even close xD
I don’t consider cypher gear welfare gear due to the grind to max it.
so…you like nothing to do after getting the quest lines done?
raids, dungeons, & pvp…
not everyone LIKES those 3 features, and/or has time for those things…
I would just like something to ‘do’…for me…doesn’t have to be gear…just some simple things as rewards…gold…or whatever…
dragon riding? meh…gonna get old always having to look for…whatever it is to stay in the air…kinda bland…
new race…only dps or healing, so if a person doesnt like those, they only like to run tanks…probably wont ever create one…
I just don’t understand I guess, why ANYONE would want to go back to a Vanilla style of anything
That’s what we wanted and asked for, a return to basics with less systems/borrowed power, and instead focusing on the original aspects of the game people enjoyed, like talent trees.
I personally didn’t mind borrowed power in Legion, but it got out of hand and overdesigned in BfA and Shadowlands so I’m glad they’re moving away from it.
There are plenty of other F2P games available for you. I’m happy spending $15 a month for WoW, especially if it pushes players like you away.
If you’re bored on beta maybe play Wrath classic for peak WoW game designed that cultivated the largest mmo population?
I dunno man.
The design of Wrath made me actually unsub.
Horrible class design. The worst raid tier ever released. The worst way to release another tier.
“Lead Game/Encounter Designer” I’m aware, and any expansion he’s designed raids they had less participation too. Every expansion since they joined, it’s been downhill. Thanks though. Blizzard indeed just hired people they liked rather than those with the best qualifications. :3
He started in Wrath, he designed many encounters in wrath, wrath was considered the pinnacle of wow.
WoW raids have never really been listed as a reason for the decline. In fact raids are generally listed as one of the few quality things left in the game.
Ok so it’s not that it’s bare, it’s just that your ideas aren’t what they added.
