It isn’t though? We have have access to manuscripts from the early centuries, that were copied over and over and over, there are very minor differences, but the overall content of the scripture can be pretty much checked even nowadays.
Well ignoring the fact that we know at the minimum that over 30,000 changes were made to the Bible and up to 30+ books were removed from the Bible.
But that’s an inconvenient truth nowadays I guess

So, what exactly do you mean by 30 thousand changes? Thats a pretty strong ststement based that we can still piece together early texts, with many different copies and sources to verify.

Funny how much you dont know me then. I have never had any love for the scarlets and if anything I consider them anti thetical to the Alliance.

But there were definitely people Cenarius taught before Malfurion to use nature magic. They just weren’t Druids.
So really, I’m not seeing anything that changes Malfurion being the first Druid so far except maybe the implication that Druids and Highborne split off earlier than later.
Druid is a specific thing. It’s not just “Uses nature magic”.

This really reeks of the stoned ape theory to me.
Which implies that humans grew more intelligent due to consumption of plant chemicals and drugs that expanded their minds (psilocybin, weed, blabla).
Its reasoning is terribly flawed because drugs (and in this case magic) becomes a crutch to do things regularly, and the mind gains dependency on the crutch and loses self- sufficiency.
Eventually the innate mental capabilities would become redundant and be reduced over evolutionary time.
If night elves became dependent on the well for intelligence and to cast magic, they would lose their innate intelligence and also their overall intelligence in its absence. External sources cannot empower innate intelligence.
Evolution to higher intelligence requires internal innate resources, and hence cognitive function, to change (i.e., neurological function, brain size, number of synapses etc. ) rather than an external influence (crutch, drug, magic)!
