Dragon Riding = Water Striders 2.0

Is this water strider 2.0…hmm

Blizzard replaces a perfectly fine system with a “new improved” system that removes the older option and replaces it with something that seems cool but is secretly designed to punish you softly.

yup yup, this seems to check out. Nice call.

pretty similar.
You work for X…we’re nullifying X and giving you Y instead.
Have a nice day
lmao.

Does the barding even work in ZM?
Ive been getting molasses legs when I get hit mounted a LOT and Ive had the barding for a while now.

As long as you have it, it works.

Um because most of us began playing MMORPGs 4 or 5 years before WoW launched and never found it fun?

I did wPvP in SWG with the young guys at work. Knowing how much work that guy’s base we destroyed made me wonder why anyone would do it. Why trash what someone else builds up? That’s right PvPers. Some people like to have fun some like to trash other people.

Exactly.
Before my strider just had WWing. If I wanted WWing I pressed a button and now Im mounted and WWing.
Well WHAT IF I want to use barding on my mounts?
huh…no WWing now.
So yeah…‘punishment’ sounds about right.
Id also personally add “infantile” and “passive aggressive” and maybe some others I wont use here.

Ugh I loved SWG. Bounty hunting in that game was so much fun. Destroying someone’s base was even more fun. I LOVED IT.

Good immersion being able to destroy in game built bases. God I miss that game.

That is weird. What does it do exactly?
Ive been running on my mount thru mobs and they literally will nearly stop me dead in my tracks. I thought it was supposed to stop that if we were using barding?

Yea pvpers like to have fun. Pvers love trashing on new players and people who don’t play the way they want. I just got done reading a Reddit post about a whole raid trashing on a guy who was trying to learn how to tank. There’s plenty of other questionable stories like this too.

To act like pve content doesn’t have some of the most vile people in it is delusional.

My favorite was a musician, doctor or my creature handler…

Yep no need to fight at all. Fix people up or create and tame new creatures.

Comfortable Rider’s Barding?

Also depends on certain mounts (AKA not on the Sky Golem)

Imagine the entitlement to believe you were being “punished” because you had to choose between a current ability and something new.

Sitting in the cantina to get musicians buffs, or waiting in line in front of a spaceport to get dr. Buffs. It was an awesome approach to people who purely wanted to craft and not participate in combat. Miss it so much.

oh god…is that that game where you build up a base in some post apocalypse setting?
I saw a video of some guy ransacking some kids base in a game like that and the kid was literally crying begging him not to take his stuff

You seem to not be able to read what I keep writing and put me into the Reader Mythic+ group.

As bad as those people are they are still a step up from PvPers (who are an even bigger step up from wPvPers)

yeah…that sounds right. got it off the AH.

I bought up the unhealable damage in a thread the other day as a way to punish DPS who stand in fire. Make it not go away until the dungeon / raid is over…

Seeing players with only 20% of their mind hp was hilarious

And you seem to lack reading comprehension. Where did I say this?

And I consider you all a humongous step down from pvp where we don’t get on to fight Ai all day. What about it.

You know what?

I am a HUGE step down from those guys that fight AI all day because I am NOT one of them

I don’t need a game for my ego. If I suck I suck. If it’s fun I play it…

Glad you’ve accepted this.

Apparently you need the forums for that lol. :sparkles:

Exactly.
