And I don’t care what you don’t care. You sound like a parrot.
It was only added back because of massive backlash.
I don’t need convincing.
They had no issue with completely ruining flying mounts back in the day. Only playerbase backlash made them change their minds.
Now, they got a shady system that will clearly cause a load of waste of time, with grind and constant fails at every attempt at flying, while giving the false sense it’s still flying. Not to mention, issues like motion sickness and latency that can make up extra painful for some people to even try it. And all they have to do is update animations in old mounts to mimic these dragons but the normal flying isn’t required for that.
This isn’t even new. It’s a tradition for Blizzard to do this. They’re just applying to flying now.

Nah, just a bored crazy old man whose only communications with a disabled kid who at least as crazy as I am.
Actually the thing that urked me about the whole water walking issue is that they spend time to build a cool system that no one was ever going to use. Everyone just slapped water walking back on and forgot it existed.
It was sort of a proxy punishment. like a “neaner neaner” you can’t really use our cool fancy system now cause you want to keep your cruddy old water walking. Ok you can do that…just ignore the fun toy we made.
It’s the way narcissists punish people, it’s immature. Water walking was a feature that people worked long and hard to earn and it should have stayed on the bug.
You make allot of claims for an expansion that’s not even in alpha testing phase yet. Many people on this forum seem to “already know” how the flying will pan out.
More doom and gloom before we even know anything.
Interesting. Perhaps it would do you both good to get out more.
Same for all the Blizzard boot lickers.

Nah. I just don’t claim to know everything before a game is even in alpha yet.
I wish I could see in the future like you!
Can just swap topns and like more. Limiting likes is so stupid…
If I could I would. It’s why I may be on here all day one day then disappear for a week then back.
Gotcha. That next outing can’t come soon enough, eh?
I’m worried we did not start the “doom and Gloom” early enough. We started at the very beginning with “pull the rip cord” and it’s junk destroyed shadowlands.
This is a problem we sadly needed to get to 5 months before the intern thought it up on the toilet and handed it to Ion.

I forget and stay on the other toon and answer people I was talking too earlier…
Then I get accused of trying to hide who I am by forum trolls…

I get 5 hours of my PT job tomorrow…
Edit - Either way night all, it’s been fun
It is mind-blowing to me that some people are actively defending Blizzard’s ridiculous stance on this. I used to be a super shill but some of the people in the replies here take the cake for absurdity. Things like this should be optional, why are people acting like we are talking about rocket science.
If you want to Dragonride, go for it. If you want to mount up and fly on your Emerald Drake, Invincible, proto-drakes, Firehawks, etc then you should be allowed to. Fighting this until they change their stance.

In a way I thank them for it. They move the chat along. They enrage people draw people into the discussion allowing them to give their own point of view on the topic. In a way they help the cause by acting as a sounding board.
The more we fight with them, the bigger the post numbers get…and at the end of the day all Blizzard looks at is the post numbers.

I hope they don’t change their stance. I’m fine with using our normal flying mounts LATER in the expansion, but not in the beginning. It will diminish this whole dragon riding system they are creating.
I sincerely hope they stick to their guns. I’m of the minority though it seems and that’s just fine and dandy (:

The problem is their idea of later is probably 10.3 and by then a massive amount of people will have already unsubbed. I’d even be willing to bet real money that more people will unsub due to this new system and no proper flying than not.
I am okay with the idea, it should just be optional, and if either party wants to use either option they should be allowed to? It can’t be this hard to grasp.

I think giving options is what they don’t want to do because it’s going to be one of the major points of the new expansion.
Customizing your dragon, learning skills / abilities, and who knows what else they plan on implementing with it.
I am all for customizable mounts and a new take on flying, just not for keeping the mounts I earned over the past 15 years, to be relegated to the ground only for the entire expansion.
